  1. Hello, It would be amazing if you could add a dark theme to malwarebytes 3 (Or 4 when it comes out). It is not necessary but would be very nice. I do sometimes monitor my scans and work with the app. It would be less blinding.

  4. I see a lot of posts about Malwarebytes 3 causing Windows 7 to become unresponsive. I want to join those reporting this problem on Windows 10 as well.   8. Hello all, I am trialing a VPN solution for my workplace. We are using the in built CISCO Meraki VPN Client Server to setup and maintain the VPN. The main goal of the VPN is to allow sales and technical staff access to network mapped resources back at HQ, and to allow the technicians to remotely enter customers sites. We setup all sites so that only our HQ IP address can access them remotely for security purposes. One of the key requirements of this VPN is to have FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) resolve correctly both onsite and offsite of HQ. Onto the issue at hand.

Because the web protection feature could not be successfully turned back on and because I determined that there occurred a problem during the month of January with the Malwarebytes 3 application, I uninstalled the application with the intent of reinstalling it.   10. My computer crashed yesterday and after a reboot loop and looking at the srt file, I was able to determine the issue was with mbamswissarmy.sys file. The error message stated that the file was corrupt. I renamed the file and then windows was able to boot up. Malwarebytes indicated there was an error and asked me to reboot. I did and after the reboot, Malwarebytes indicated that it is running properly. The mbamswissarmy.sys file is still renamed. Is Malwarebytes working properly? I have a licensed version.   12. I'm having a problem when I try to install the latest updated version of Malwarebytes 3. Every time I try to install it -- even in Safe Mode -- it triggers a BSOD crash (Kernel Security Check Failure). I have a Lenovo ThinkPad X220 Tablet, with Windows 10 Professional 64-bit.   14. Hi there, I'm having an issue where exploit protection fails to turn on. I did a clean uninstall/reinstall with mb-clean (log attached) but this problem has persisted throughout that and several restarts. I recall something like this happened subscriber-base-wide last January-ish but today it seems like just me.   16. It's November 2017 and I just started having the problem Grenpara had in February. I cannot keep real time web protection ON. I follow the FAQ instructions: turn off enable self protection and restart. I'm good till the next morning; then process repeats. Today MB turned off ransomware protection. I have been waiting for 3 days for a reply from customer service. I tried to live chat but they only help with installation. Why am I paying for MB when it keeps turning itself off and I cannot get help from the company?
  17. I currently have the original Malwarebytes Anti-Malware tool for Mac installed on my macbook and want ti upgrade to the new Malwarebytes 3 for mac. The only issue is how should i approach the installation. When i open the MBAM app and upgrade through there, should i wait for Malwarebytes 3 to fully install before uninstalling the older MBAM app? Or can i still use both MBAM and the new Malwarebytes 3 with no interference, or is that a bit over the top? Is MBAM still receiving the same signature updates as Malwarebytes 3 or is it best to upgrade?
  18. As soon as windows is on and chrome gets started, mb 3.2.2 shows a dialog box saying coin-hibe.com restricted. After closing the dialog box, it again appears in a sec. It keeps on appearing again and again until the mb 3.2.2 is completely closed by using task manager. After I restart it, then it seems to work fine.
  19. Well, MBAM cannot replace all other security programs, no one can. I like to try BitDefender Internet Security 2017 on my W10 Pro x64 with MBAM 3. Does anyone have any own experience on how the co-operation will succeed? AFAIK BitDefender does not like others (what a rasists ;))
  20. I'll start by noting that this issue does not exist on one machine, but several machines which are all on the same domain. However, not every machine on the domain has this issue. The machines all use either Windows 7 or Windows 10. Malwarebytes does not freeze. What happens is at some point during any point after scanning "startup items" the scan will suddenly appear stuck as the "number of objects scanned" will stop increasing. The scan timer will keep ticking the entire time, but no progress is being made. I can pause the scan, and when I resume the scan there is no change in prog
  21. Had a search for this in the forums to see if anyone else had had this problem, but couldn't see that anyone has reported it before. Basically I keep having to set my scheduled scan, because after a couple of days, usually 2-3, my settings keep getting wiped. I like to have a scheduled scan everyday at 7:00 PM, with the option for a missed scan to take place up to 23 hours afterward. However, after 2-3 days, it keeps resetting to a scan at 2:30 AM, without the option for a scan to take place if that is missed.   23. I have tried to upgrade to version 3xx of Malwarebytes from 2xx. Each time the program never finishes a scan. It is locked at scanning startup files requiring me to uninstall using the clean tool then reverting to the previous version which runs flawlessly.
