  1. Hello, I'm having some trouble with my free version of Malwarebytes. Previously, I had an older version installed and was getting the error message while downloading telling me to 'Please check your connection to the internet and try again.' I tried to install a fresh copy but still got the same error message. I then installed the offline version of MB, where I'm now getting the 'Malwarebytes Unable to Contact License Server' when I go to account settings. Also, I'm unable to activate any license key with no connection. I'm not using any proxies, I disabled my firewall, I'm not using any other
  2. Hello, I wasn't really sure where to post this. But today(6/27/2020) when I went to check my email (connected with my Malwarebytes account but not the forums) I noted three password reset messages from Malwarebytes that I never requested. The first was time stamped at 2:15pm, the second at 2:26pm, and the third at 7:03pm. I know the message itself says if I didn't request it to safely ignore it and it may have been a mistake and I could see it with one message but three I don't think is mistake.   3. Tried to start a scan just now, but it immediately froze permanently and it won't let me close it at all, it makes me force restart my laptop. I use Intel Graphic, and a HP Windows 10 laptop.

  5. Are they charging an extra $59.99 a year for this VPN on top of what I'm already paying for the anti-virus program itself? If so, then the price needs to be dropped considerably because that would be awfully expensive. A free trial would help as well.
  6. I've installed the recent MalwareBytes free version 4 without any realtime protection. I have turned off system tray notifications (see attached). Now I'm getting random Malwarebytes ads popping up on my desktop to buy the full program (see attached). These also do not go away without being explicitly closed. This is intrusive, unsolicited and not related to why I installed the program (I will buy when I decide to buy), and I can't disable the behaviour in settings... That covers about 80% of the characteristics of AdWare, which I find ironic at least.. Short of uninstallin
  7. Hey guys I have a clean install of windows 10 a brand new pc built and I installed malwarebytes been using it for a long time never had a issue with it until recently. I installed the program all was well until the system tray icon just vanished and i unistalled malwarebytes and re installed it and for two days the system tray icon appeared as normal i even turned on my pc a few times a day to see if the icon would appear and it did and it wasnt until a few minutes ago i turned my pc on to find the icon was not there so what I did was restart the pc and it came back.   8. I was waiting for my Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Program to auto-renew today which I reinstated a couple weeks ago. However, I see a message telling me that my subscription as expired and my Protection as been temporarily extedned due to the renewal failure. Could it have had the wrong payment information?
  9. I purchased Malwarebytes in October of last year. I haven't scanned my computer in awhile, however, it is always running in the background. Recently, I have tried to scan my computer and I keep getting an error. (see below). This is making me believe I have a virus on my computer. Please help!
