  1. I'm getting alot of pop ups, when on websites that are 100% safe like last.fm or myanimelist.net. Please help me, thank you! Malware bytes detects it and blocks the pop up and tells me it comes from "File: C:\Windows\System32\MicrosoftEdgeCP.exe" but this keeps happening every minute or so. *Logs for the popups and scans below* ( also weird thing is i installed adwcleaner but its magically disappeared! after i done a scan using it! ) I followed this guide correctly (screenshotted below) but it did not get rid of this problem. I installed malware bytes and enabled the PUP detection and scanned but no malware or viruses appeared, malware bytes said all files are okay but everytime i browse the web malwarebytes says this (screenshotted below) I want to get rid of this problem and its very annoying and has left me fustrated, in fact I'll soon be buying malwarebytes! 2. Hi All, I wasn't sure where to put this since it's a generic question as opposed to specifically about a product or threat. While I've been aware of malvertising for a while, it wasn't until I started putting together a security class for seniors that I thought about "reader view". Safari has it, Mozilla has added it, Edge has it...how is reader view effected by malvertising? Are the ads still in the background and simply not visible or are they removed completely? Also, when returning from reader view, do the ads from the page rotate thereby possibly initiating malware or preferably moving past it? Look forward to hearing thoughts.
  3. I have a constant issue with banner ads and pop up advertising even though pop ups are disabled, after much trying I have found that I am receiving malvertising as I also get banner ads in Wikipedia. I have tried many different malware and anti virus software though none seems to be able to recognise the threat. Because of this issue, in Task Manager cpu is always higher than 8/9%, memory is always past the 25%, disk is sometimes at 0% though mostly jumps up to 100%. Programs are constantly crashing and I can't watch videos as the page crashes. What should I do?
