7:50 PM CST Today the following website www.tweakbit.com was identified 26 times as a protection event. a message ibn the taskbar notification said Add link.tweak.com as an exclusion. I did NOT add it. I look at the exclusion list and the link had been added. I clicked on the box I cant remember the next step because I thought why would the Microsoft support websites I was reviewing on send outbound connection. I got distracted by my flashing screen (to let me know I made a change) when I had not seen the flash for a long time. I thought that all the updates from MS had changed my s

I opened a link from a Google result and saw command prompt open and close twice. I could not see what was going on. I want to make sure my computer was not infected with Malware. I have downloaded Malwarebyte and run the scan. I also ran FRST per suggestion on other thread. I am including log files for Malwarebyte as well as FRST.txt and Addition.txt. Please review and let me know if my computer is infected. Thank you for your help. Addition.txt FRST.txt MalwarebyteScanResults.txt

Hello everybody. When I tried to find something about North Face raincoats, I came accidently on a site which told me that I had to push on a button, otherwise my pc would be blocked. It must be one of the following sites, but I'm not sure which one. Greetings from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Machiel van Veen

Malwarebytes is blocking websites that I trust. This week Malwarebytes started blocking all safe sites that were allowed last week. Links in my email to other sites such as Meetup.com, Google Photos, Facebook, Flickr, USPS, and other safe sites are not accessible. I received https://block.malwarebytes.com/I should not need to manually whitelist the entire internet in Exclusions Settings section of Malwarebytes. Currently, the only option is to remove Malwarebytes. Please fix immediately. Malwarebytesblocked a suspected bad URL or an unwanted program.Learn More

Hi, I unfortunately am here due to some malware content I have on my computer which occurred by clicking on a link to download a font. The symptoms at first were that there were several added extensions in chrome which would create pop up links from happening. Once I noticed the problem I ran malware bytes and also Adwcleaner which found a few items. I figured that problem was ok since the extensions did not load on every chrome opening, but that was not the case. Now what happens is every time I click on a link that opens in a new window or a gmail desktop notification it will link to a

Hey guys, My friend had her email hacked and it was sending out malicious links. I clicked on the link thinking it was a video or something that she wanted me to see. The link sent me to some random webpage selling dieting products. I thought nothing of it and deleted the email. I scanned for viruses: none of my antivirus programs (AVG, Malwarebytes, Spybot search & destroy) has detected anything.. However, yesterday (a few days after the email) my AVG identity protection stopped working.. I am concerned that a hacker might have gained control of my browser when I clicked on the link! Woul
