I have found 2018 references in forum to a 'malwarebytes app' in Amazon Appstore, and reports of people successfully using it, albeit seemingly on older models of Fire. However, I can find nothing of this kind in Appstore on my Kindle. Have I missed something between 2018 & now which means M'bytes can't be made to work on later Kindle Fire? (Only just signed up to a premium sub, so am just putting M'bytes on devices). Anything happening to enable M'bytes on Fire?? Any workarounds?? Tx
Hello, This afternoon, I updated Malwarebytes on my Kindle Fire 7" (2012) to the newest version. I only had the free version on my Fire, but it gave me a 14-day free trial of the paid version when I updated. I have MBAM Premium on my PC and laptop, and wanted to activate my Fire as my third device. However, when I enter my license key on my Fire, it's not accepted. Is there something I'm missing?
Is there a project in development for a Malwarebytes version for Kindle Fire tablets by Amazon? I understand that their operating system is a proprietary variant of Android but several other software products have been written, apparently with Amazon approval, because they are available for download at the Amazon Store?
Hiya I just downloaded Malwarebytes from the Amazon app store because it had the highest rating for Kindle antivirus, but it says that in order to enable real time protection, I need to enable something called "Usage Access." When I click "usage access settings" it just goes to Kindle's regular settings. How do I enable Usage Access? I tried a Google search & just came across a bunch of forum posts with the same questions & no correct answers.
