  1. MB has been generating MANY notifications about a specific IP that is scanning my site. I have created an inbound rule in Windows Firewall to block a specific IP address. I was under the impression that the firewall would apply its rules before MB was able to detect the incoming IP. I am still getting the notifications from MB that it is blocking the IP. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.
  2. Please, tell me how to get the Malwarebytes log because i don't know, i get into the folder in program data and i don't see any log file showing what my actual problem is. Malwarebytes keeps spamming this everytime i have deluge on: An IP is being classified as a trojan and i don't know what is causing this because in Deluge i have no active torrents nor any activity of downloading. So what is the problem?
  3. Hello, I have found a number of unknown IP addresses in my MWB3 Exclusion list. I have not added any of these manually and was wondering if its any cause for concern. Many of the addresses lead to unlikely host countries of any of my services such as Astana Kazakhstan. one example IP address given below is listed on projecthoneypot.org as a spammer/hijacked address 178.90.91.230
  4. Hello, somebody can help me to find a solution to remove our IP address form malwarebytes blacklist? We using other professional malware systems (Eset, Zemana) and everything is fine. However today we realized the Malwarebyte blocking one correct site. IP: 79.172.252.185 We have no idea why? How can I stop the ban? Thanks.
  5. Good afternoon, I'm running Malwarebytes Premium version as anti-malware and Avast Internet Security (non-free) on my computer as anti-virus. Since last week, MWB is sending notification of blocked outgoing connection (without mentioning any program) to the same IP address once per day and everyday at the same time. The address is 91.214.44.139. I'm not surfing the internet or doing anything specific when it happens. When I search the internet it says the corresponding hostname is vpn-gw-rod-003.lux0-alt.ff.avast.com so it seems related to Avast. What bugs me is t

  7. Hi, I'm a Malwarebytes registered user. I bought the cd long ago because I love the idea of supporting honest companies that produce quality products such as this with new updates being introduced at a constant rate. I have been using this amazing software for many years now but still don't know how to utilize all of its features. I would like to know how to use Malwarebytes to block ip addresses and websites that are dangerous to my computer's health.
  8. I keep having a little box in the corner of my screen popping up and telling me that svchost.exe is being blocked by Malwarebytes. Mainly the website is found under the same IP, but the port is always different. This pop-up occurs very frequently, and typically in quick succession. I would really appreciate any help I could get in removing the cause of this problem. Thanks!
  9. Please consider reviewing this shared hosting server with IP: 217.26.70.100. There were two accounts with infected files which are cleaned and quarantined now. Please feel free to contact us if needed. Ivan Zivkovic BeotelNet ISP

  11. While watching a YouTube video, I noticed Malwarebytes starting to go insane with notifications blocking both inbound and outbound connections from the IP 121.54.58.246 to Skype. I never have any ads in Skype and while Malwarebytes does randomly block IP's inbound to skype at times, its never been anything like this before. A quick google search of this IP address reveals that it is listed in the StopForumSpam database as well as project honeypot who states it is used in dictionary attacks (see attached image). I have attached the Malwarebytes protection log, should I be concerned about t
  12. Hello folks, the Ukrainian AirVPN server named Nair has been identified as a malicious site by Malwarebytes. Malwarebytes blocks the connection even if an exception is made forcing me to temporarily disable Malwarebytes until the connection is made. On top of the ip block it also seems to block the DNS Check to the server. Any help is appreciated. 176.103.56.78 91.217.91.54 nair.airservers.org nair_exit.airservers.org

  16. So I was playing Counter-Strike 1.6 in a trusted server and everyone in it started to lose connection. I think the server was experiencing problems and this happened about 4-5 times before I just gave up and decided to take a break. I went back to my desktop and MBAM popped up in the corner and blocked a malicious website I'm guessing and it popped up about 3-4 times with different IP addresses. I looked at my applications log to see if this happened earlier and I found the same thing that it blocked some IPs from a week ago as well. Yesterday was over 50 website IPs that it blocked and today
  17. Hello guys, unfortunately im beeing confronted with performance issues and supposedly attacks on my computer. As you can read in the title svchost is getting blocked infrequently with alternating source ip adresses. Thank you for your help in advance. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  18. I was plagued with multiple incoming IP block messages. After reading some of the suggested solutions, which included downloading software packages, I decided upon a different approach. (I am using Symantec End Point as an antivirus unmanaged.) I went to the Malware protection log and did an IP trace of the IP addresses…there were multiple entries for the same IPs. I then did a Whois for the area (Russia, Ukrane, Netherlands and Spain) and got the IP block associated with the IPs and the slash. Since I do not do business with any of these countries, I went into my edn Point firewall and

  21. When Malwarebytes blocks an IP and at the same time I'm running Wireshark, I don't see the traffic from the blocked IP in Wireshark. Could anyone explain how this works? My guess is maybe the Malwarebyte blocked IP is from a domain redirect but I would still think I would see that traffic, right? ============================================== see traffic -> Malwarebytes blocks it -> computer is safe ? ============================================== Does Malwarebytes compile their own safe IP/domain list or do they use Google's safe browsing list? Thanks!
  22. I discovered about 2-4 IP addresses in Web Exclusions on each of my two desktops and laptop. I think they had been there for a long time because honestly I did not check this settings earlier. IP addresses were from Nigeria, India, Moldova, Netherlands. I removed them immediately. I contacted support who said they are there by user action on purpose or by accident. I have looked at forum and surfed.Others have had this problem. My impression is that nobody know for sure how this happens. One poster suggest it might be an inadvertent response clicking on the Malwarebytes popups notifying a
  23. I would be grateful if you could please provide some assistance. I have been having repeated pop-up alerts from MWB regarding a malicious IP address – I have searched through all of the various messages and threads on this forum, and have carried out all of the suggestions and recommendations that have been made – however, none of these have resolved the problem. MalwareBytes pop up appears from system tray on a round a 5-minute basis – this happens either when I am simply surfing the net, or even if the machine is not being used for anything. The following message is shown “Malwarebytes Succe
  24. Hey, and thanks in advance for any help. So I installed MBAM recently, and it's been blocking outgoing connections to IP addresses really frequently lately. I'm not sure what could be causing these potentially malicious connections...my antivirus protection (Symantec) as well as MBAM consistently give me clean scan results (from quick scans, flash scans, and full scans). I'd really appreciate some help with figuring out what is going on and if I need to do anything about it. Also, I was wondering if I could PM the logs to you in some way? I'd rather not post them publicly unless it's totall
  25. Malwarebytes has been fairly busy blocking IP addresses Firefox is connecting too, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I should be worried about this? I have Googled and looked up each of the IP addresses that has been blocked, but it wasn't very enlightening. They don't look like sites I have been using (at least purposefully). I came accross this topic in this forum in the false positives section which talks about one of the IP addresses: http://forums.malwar...showtopic=66032 The admin has asked the poster to put their logs in a new thread here, that post was quite a while ago, so
