  1. Hi, If I want to rename a folder I have to quit MBAM, In order to fix this issue I had to uninstall the product using mb-clean- And then Re install MBAM v3.4.4 No Luck The problem persist. Thanks Came
  2. So, I came to know about this issue yesterday when I returned from school and used my laptop. All the files and folders except C Drive are hidden and there is shortcut of everything. I click on the shortcut and then I can access the file. But when I try to copy anything from lappi to USB, only shortcuts are being copied. Also, an .exe file is being created on the name of the folder and file. Third, when I tried to show all the system protected files and folders, a junk of files and folders came up on the disk. Don't really know what went wrong. Day before yesterday, I inserted m
  3. How do I make MB3 scan scan specific folder(s) or file(s)? Thanks Bonus question: I made a typo but can't edit it before waiting 80 seconds or something like that.... what is the point in forcing me to wait before I can edit my post?
  4. Upgraded to MalwareBytes, and decided to remove the hundreds of file exclusions for Advanced system care and UCBrowser and to just put the parent folders of these two programs (in %programFiles%\iobit and %appdata%\iobit, etc). To my dismay, the exclude folder option is broken. It works if you exclude it after a scan but if you try to manually add a folder for exclusion, the Open File dialog box comes up instead of the Select Folder dialog. Without folder exclusions, I get a few hundred files and registry keys to exclude. This coupled with the broken scroll bar makes it very dif
  5. Hi, I was downloading custom content for the Sims 4, and I find an extra libraries folder named ::{031E4825-7B94-4DC3-B131-E946B44C8DD5} I don't know how I got it, but... When I did a scan on my folder full of modifications, it labeled them all as duplicates... Can someone tell me how to remove it safely? Thanks
  6. Over the last year or so I've been slowly curating a collection of music I like, with the goal of having a 2 GB archive divided by category (not genre) into folders. Part of the idea is any time I get a new media player or device with a memory card, I have this "pack" ready as a starting point. I know that it will never be "finished" because I'll keep finding new music and wanting to swap songs in and out, but now that I've reached 2.53 GB I want to start trimming down. The first step will be eliminating duplicates. See, since it's been an ongoing project, I fear I may have "collected" some
  7. Hello everyone: I've been researching on this problem for the last few days and I thought you could help me guys. The thing is somehow and suddenly two new folders have appeared on my 'Documents' folder these are named 'NativeFus_Log' and 'CrashDump'. I have not created them. If I delete them they keep appearing back. In 'properties' they appear as 'shared' and that is what really scares me. Am I being tracked or is there someone spying everything I do with my PC just waiting to pounce on it and hijack it? I've run my antivirus (after updating it) and it found nothing. Spybot detected some min
