  1. Usually when preforming a scan (I always do custom but I assume for any scan) you were able to see the current directory of the file being scanned. In the newest update how ever it seems this function is gone. I also see no optional option for it. I ask you to please please reconsider removing this feature from Malwarebytes it provides valuable information in the progress of the scan. It would be a shame to see it gone for good. This is valuable to me because even though the directory was only showing up for a few milliseconds you still got to see witch drive, main and sub folders the sca

  6. Hey Guys & Gals, Well here is some feedback about the latest update/fix. I did all the steps in order and missed none but for me it created a new issue. I can no longer open Malwarebytes 3 from its task bar icon. Right click and open does not work and double click does not work. Malwarebytes is running and protection is on but the other issue is a pain. I sent support a message with a video so you can see the problem. Now thou I can not open from task bar, I still can open if I double click my desktop icon. Anyways so far protection has not shut off so that's a big p
  7. Hi all, I had a MBAM 2.XX lifetime licence, and found out that V3 had been released, so I installed it straight on top of my activated 2.XX license. All went well. I wanted to say I appreciate that V3 was a free upgrade for us. I am on Windows 10 (64bit), with Avast free anti-virus the only other security software installed, and overall I am happy with Malwarebytes V3, with a few small caveats. The minor issues are all performance issues, nothing major. Sometimes CCleaner seems to hang when cleaning or doing a registry scan, taking a lot longer than normal to run. Also, I notice

  12. Would it be possible to show the Malware Anti-Ransomware program icon only in the system area? At the moment, it also shows on the task bar, which I find a bit too much. Just in the system area would be fine. Regards, Jaap.
  13. I'm really satisfied. It detected a ransomware once when i installed ace stream from the official web site (i think it was at least - got it from acestream.org). Not sure if it was a false alarm or not. But overall i like the ransomware detector. I'm not noticing a performance drop at all. I have a Lenovo E540, Windows 10, Intel i7-4712MQ, 16 GB Ram, and an SSD Drive. Thanks for the Tool! Greets

  15. Hi A a huge fan of Malwarebytes products and swear by them. Have installed the Malwarebytes Antiransomware beta on a Dell Latitude running windows 10 64 bit (which was upgraded from a windows 7 64 bit earlier installation). On two occasions I have got a pop up alert informing me of ransomware activity detected, moving to quarantine. However the process is unknown. When I click on the Quarantine tab, I do not see anything there. What possibly could explain this? Cheers Tushar

  23. I'd like to start by saying JRT is a fantastic tool. It has become a critical part of my arsenal of malware, adware, and PUP removal tools which I use on an almost daily basis. However, here are two simple ideas I have that I think would make the program even better. I use a script that copies all of the software tools I use from my flash drive and places them into a folder on the desktop. When I run JRT and it needs an update, the program will download and place the new version in a new folder on the desktop. My suggestion is that the new folder be created in the directory that JRT is runni

  25. v7.6.4 was successfully self updated to v8.0.0 while leaving the previous versions in place on a W10 Pro TH2 1511 (10.0.10586.3) x64, 8.1 (6.3.9600) x64 and XP Home (5.1.2600) SP3 x86 systems so far. All systems ran JRT 8.0.0 to completion and produced the usual output report windows. All runs deleted some elements of existing HTTPS-Everywhere installs without seemingly crippling those browser add-ons. No false positives have been noted and run time till completion seems similar to the the last few versions. None of the typical VirusTotal.com false positives were noted for the 8.0.0 execut
