  1. Hi There! It seems you just have started to block our website web.nen.wfglobal.org web.opportunity.wfglobal.org web.witp.wfglobal.org Here is one of our consumers reporting that IP has been banned: Could you please check, that these IP addresses are whitelisted? We are not sending/distributing/creating malware of any kind.
  2. I had a whole bunch of desktop (not browser) shortcuts saved in my C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Sync Data\ folder. Starting on December 26th, Malwarebytes marked these as PUPs, so I quarantined them. Now when I open them, the open the browser to my home page instead of the saved links. I restored them, but they still show up as PUPs and they still do not open the original links but rater open the home page. Chrome did it's job an propagated all these now-defunct links to all my devices. I'm pretty sure that they are lost forever. I've restored some manually and given the growing list of PUPS the new links are also being detected as malware. In other words, I am being spammed and I fear that I will overlook a real threat. How do I stop Malwarebytes from doing this? For example, is there some way to tell MalwareBytes NOT to scan files in a specific folder?
  3. I ran a Malwarebytes scan on my PC to fix a potential issue, with my CPU often running at its' maximum clock speed recently even while idle. To check if perhaps the cause could be a CPU-based cryptominer. But all Malwarebytes found were two false positives of a harmless program on my computer. That program is Q-Zandronum, a source port for the original Doom games from the early 90s. The program itself is completely harmless and open source, so you can check directly to see that it doesn't do anything malicious. But it seems that Malwarebytes' heuristics mislabeled it as malware, of course the real time protection also automatically quarantines the program when I attempt to run it. Interestingly, it seems to only see the 32-Bit build of Q-Zandronum as malware. Edit: Forgot to mention, but I also turned on "Use artificial intelligent to detect threats" in the scan options, which I presume is the reason for this false positive. Here is the included log from the full scan I had ran. And here is the log from when Malwarebytes quarantined the 32-Bit executable after I attempted to run it: I have also attached the exact build of Q-Zandronum that is labelled as a false positive below. q-zandronum_executable_32-bit.zip
  4. Has anyone figured out a fix for Malwarebytes flagging the auto-update package for Plex.tv as having Malware. See screenshot. Thanks for any guidance.
  5. Just started using Malwarebytes on a particular Windows 7 machine, did a scan with the AI on, and it flagged 2 programs (zip.exe and unzip.exe), both of which I know to be safe, because I had compiled them from sources with the OpenWatcom compiler. Trying to run also immediately quarantined them. No harm done, i simply added them to the allow-list of the Malwarebytes program. From the other messages on this forum, it looks like flagging self-compiled programs is a common problem here. Is it useful to send them as samples?
  6. For some reason, this file is now being detected as Malware though it has never been before. Could you please take a look at the attached and validate for us that this is a false positive? Thanks Data..zip

  8. Help me to understand. That's our old office. Our site is clean, and you said that you remove it from its base. But at the same site it is defined as dangerous. https://www. virustotal. com /ru/url/1ecc3d4fa9f275e5cbb5fbd52b3aa082b3e923d387dba406109f28d9cce33492/analysis/1481801513/ How to remove it from your database, and why the scanner outputs "Malwarebytes hpHosts Suspicious site"?
