  1. How should SCCM detect that Anti-Malware is installed? We used the default setting to look for the MSI Product code, but found that devices that have had the client uninstalled, still have that code. So they don't get the program reinstalled. What is the preferred way to detect that Malware Bytes is not installed?
  2. We recently had some bad apples browse websites that were not acceptable with our policy. I know with the home version of Malwarebytes the software has a website blocker that blocks known websites that are malicious. Is this a feature of the Enterprise software? Can we manage blocked websites with the enterprise console on our local Malwarebytes Server? Our goal is to block adult websites and other malicious websites with a policy somehow. If the sites are blocked, can we filter to see which PC was trying to visit those sites?
  3. I am wondering if there will be an enterprise version of this. We have had issues at my company in the past and while I can't install a Beta version there I would love to know there may be an enterprise version available down the road. And if there is, hopefully it supports 2008R2 RDS environments.
  4. Hi, Is anyone else experiencing problems wit some applications since a Malwarebytes update from last week? I have about 20 machines that suddenly were acting up on Tuesday last week after an update was downloaded. An application (Deltek Vision) that runs a browser plugin on startup and downloads/executes some file from the users' local appdata folder causes 100% CPU utilization (Mbam processes/service showing with 99%) and staying there for a good 5 minutes but even after the application finally loads, it is very sluggish. I tried to exclude the specific path for hat application by policy but that was impossible as it includes the username and MBAM does not let me specify system varialbles such as %localappdata%. After excluding the local path from scanning it works normal but that opens a door for actual malware problems since the whole user path is now unprotected. Client version: So for now I am excluding the path "C:\Users" from being scanned but that seems counter productive - the application works normal but the whole user path is now unprotected. Is there anything in the updates that may have caused this? We mave not made any changes to our systems and the application in question has not changed but suddenly this happened after last weekend. Help .... Herbert
  5. Whats the state of Linux malware for home users but particularly for enterprise servers. I mean look at how many websites have been hit by Blackhat hackers over just the last few months and how many of those websites run on Linux or Free BSD even home users are at higher risk now, though still nothing compared to Windows home user malware infections so why aren't there more antimalware solutions for Linux would something like MBAM/MBAE help fend off all these exploits from happening so often to enterprise websites & perhaps assist Linux home users against malware exploits as well.
  6. Hello, We have MEE installed on our server (just updated to and I am pushing out client version One of computers continues to get an execution result saying "Generic Failure". I have looked around the web and forums but have not had much luck finding a fix. Any suggestions? Thanks
  7. I periodically get an error in my enterprise console that says "Login failed for user. Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool. This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached." I then have to restart the mbam service to get logged back in. This isn't such a big deal, but it resets all my cleints and they show offline until they all check back in. Anyone seen this before or have any ideas on how I can fix it? Thanks.
