I wanted to sign up for endpoint protection since we are recovering from ransomware attack. But i have some questions. I heard that it is unsupported for rdp or terminal services. I support a server remotely, and use rdp to connect. So, my first queston is - will it work if i use rdp? Recently we had a ransomware attack originating from a workstation, and being afraid that it might affect the server, I installed Malwarebytes to do a scan. It started a trial, and seemed to be intercepting riskware through the mail transport (it is exchange server) at first i thought this was a good thing, But i am not so sure now since my exchange search service is continuously stopping and restarting. Question #2: That version is Malwarebytes Premium, is it a no-no to run it on exchange server? Then I was trying to manually delete encrypted files which i wanted to do all at once , and then tried 200,000 files at once while connected remotely. Each time i tried, I got booted out and the exchange server went down, I would have to wait a few hours and then restart services manually. Question #3: was malwarebytes premium involved in any of that and should I uninstall it? Please respond since I am in the middle of this now!

We have MB Endpoint Protection, cloud based, and is there a way to export your client list to a csv or something? Wanting to cross-reference with our Sophos install to make sure we have everything covered.

So i guess this is kind of a two part post. So we just replaced our on prem endpoint clients with the cloud endpoint clients and that seemed to go fine using the mbam clean tool. The problem some of our users are seeing is their chrome and firefox will lock up for 20+ minutes and just be frozen. I have turned off Web Protection and Anti Exploit to see if that fixes it, i haven't heard an update on the issue yet but i was curious if anyone has ran into this issue before. Part two, We have two policies, one for our computers and the other for our virtual machines/VDI's that DO NOT use anti exploit. I realized that using the endpoint installer provided it only uses the default policy and i can't install an endpoint solely to a specific policy like we kind of could with the on prem solution (install with anti exploit, one without). Is there a way besides installing then moving the machine to the correct policy to install the specific client to that specific policy?

Greetings, I am going to be purchasing the Malwarebytes Endpoint Security for my company. I am using Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard and will be using a hybrid setup. I will have 20 end points, employees connecting VPN to the main office from around the world. My question is in regards to the Database disk space consumption over time, I have many 1TB-4TB drives, though my protected C:"OS" partition is something I keep to a minimal size, with very strict user access rights. I would like to include the Malwarebytes software on the OS partition, I would like to know how much space I will be looking at giving to it so that the database has plenty of room to grow. Thank you, Mithrow
