Greetings. I have inherited an installation of MWB Management Console/Server, v. 126.96.36.19916. I'm currently making preparations to upgrade to v. 1.8, but there's a specific issue I'm hoping to address that does not appear to be mentioned in the documentation: client IP for our end users is acquired using DNS, and since some of our endpoints are laptops that travel off-campus and other endpoints are machines that will occasionally be powered off for several days at a time, I find I am spending a lot of time curating the client database to deal with stale IPs and duplicate user endpoints.

Ok, I have had an issue crop up 4 times recently when using Malwarebytes, I clean up PC's for other people and with Windows Vista, 4 times I have had the running of Malwarebytes, and removal of files found, cause the PC to lose network connectivity. In 3 of these cases, DHCP service would no longer start, and because of that the computer would not get an IP and therefore no network communication. In the current and 4th case, DHCP is started, but even though the network card is enabled, I cannot get the system to get an IP from multiple routers. When I watch the network and sharing center,
