Hi there, Is there any ability coming or presently in Malwarebytes for MAC that allows custom scanning of other disks, such as an external drive or other internal drive? This would benefit greatly. Consider it feedback if it's not there!

Threat scan only scans 1 drive
Rory_Mercury posted a topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
Threat scan only seems to scan through the SSD that I have win7 and Malwarebytes 3.0 is installed in. For example, when I perform a threat scan, it goes through 355,000 items. I disconnect my second SSD drive and power cable (the one that doesnt have win7 and Malwarebytes 3.0 installed) and perform another threat scan and only 355,000 items are scanned. Anyway to configure it so threat scans include both of my SSDs? Thanks! -
Hello, If I choose Custom Scan on C:\ drive and check the option Scan for Rootkits, MBAM stops scanning and stop responding even if I click on cancel, the only way to stop the task is rebooting the computer This issue is very old, I haven't never finish a Custom Scan on C:\ drive checking the option Scan for Rootkits I am impatient? Or MBAM has still issues with this type of scan? Thanks Came

Hi I have Malwayrebyte premium 3.0.6 which I like very much. I am on windows 10, professionnal, 32 bits. I would like to make a "threat scan" daily" and a "custom deeper" scan once a week. It seem to be impossible. When aI schedule one or the other, and change type of scan, it change both scheduled type. I retried many times, being very careful about selecting just one of the scan (and checking the over button) but now way. Whatever I do, ti change both to Normal or Custom. I really cannot schedule two differnt type of scan, which I would need. NOTE (edited) I finally get to do it by supressing all the settings, then creating new schedules, but other questiona or suggestiona remain. 1 - Also, would it not be simpler is the scan name were the same all over, like in scan interface (threat hyper and custome) and in the setting interface (normal, hyper and threat. Why in the world does Cutom become Normal on the scheduler (even if is say Custom when setting it. Change of naming is sure confusing (and pointless) 2 - Last thing, as many othera i have "real time protection turned of" every morning, when I open my PC. Sure not not welcoming. Beside that, thank you for a nice piece of software. I love the new version!

With the previous version I had, I could right-click on an item and scan just that item - I'd always do that whenever I downloaded a file, and it just took a few seconds. But with the latest version, I'm having lots of problem. The right-click facility is gone - MWB doesn't appear on the 'scan with' menu anymore. But worse, the Custom Scan won't work. I selected it then navigated through My Documents, then Downloads, then the folder my selected file was in (and the folder had just that file in it and no more), then ticked the box and clicked the scan button. The result - it scanned for over 21 minutes, scanning over 674,090 objects, which looks like a full scan to me. I could be doing something wrong, but i can't think what it is.

First off, the update to version 2.0 was overwhelming with an entire new interface and going to have to change how i normally did things. At the very first I did a threat scan because it wanted me to, then did it again to see if I could try to do my whole computer. Both times I did the threat scans I got Logs like you normally would. When I figured out that custom scan would be what I should use I scanned my three hard drives and went to sleep. When I came back my computer had restarted automatically and there was also no logs to look at, so I have no idea if it found anything or not. Can you stop a scan from restarting your computer automatically if it finds something? Can you enable logs for custom logs?
