  1. This error occurred many times a day but seemed to stop when I eventually (after four reboots) got it to upgrade to v4 from v3. It has now returned. I notice it because my web browser (Firefox or Chrome) becomes unresponsive and things like the Event Viewer or Task Manager don't load until the fault has cleared itself after maybe 15 seconds. This is MalwareBytes Premium v 4.1.0.56 on Windows 10 Professional v 1909 The event viewer entry is below.   2. Hi, I installed the trial verison of Malwarebytes 3.6.1. Have looked on the forum, but how can you do any of the things recommended if the laptop just freezes. Can't open a thing, have rebooted (manually), so many times today I have lost count, and now patience is turning to despair. PLEASE HELP
  3. Short version of the problem: Whenever I press the little bell icon in the top right corner Malwarebytes just completely crashes. Rebooting does not help, ran repair with the Malwarebytes suppport tool. But nothing changed and it still crashes as soon as i click the icon.   4. A bunch of weird things is happening: Restarting at random points Also, now I noticed a way to get passed it, by clicking on the icon on macos but now it is not working. Mail seems weird with notifications fading I am on version macos 10.12.6
  5. For about a month, I have been getting messages that Malwarebytes web protection is turned off. When I try to turn it on, it will not turn on. The computer has to be restarted. I have also been getting Blue Screens of Death. I have scanned the computer with Malwarebytes, AdwCleaner, Kaspersky, Windows Defender, and Sophos. Of these, only Sophos detected anything at all; a PUP called Softonic. First, Malwarebytes is, according to Malwarebytes, supposed to detect Softonic. So it's really disturbing to find that it isn't. Second, any suggestions as to what to do?

  7. Hello. I am a loyal user of AdwCleaner, and I love it. However, an hour ago I tried to use my 6.XX version and I was prompted to updat to verision 7.0, which I did After downloading I startyed the new version, but it crashes eveytime (see attached image), and I cannot use the older one, since it takes me to the newer version download site.   8. I have a brand new IbuypowerPC BB930 and i have used malwarebytes for years .... It ran on my old windows 10 machine fine, so no idea why it is crashing. 3 straight times it crashes about 75% of the way through scanning 2 of my hard drives. error "We're sorry but the malwarebytes service stopping working. it will now restart or something like that" ... no screenshot.   11. Hi, I am running Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 32-bit on a Dell Dimension DXPO61 Intel Core 2CPU 6700@2.66Ghz with 4GB RAM. Malwarebytes has been hanging and freezing every time I run a scan lately. I have to do a hard re-start and the scan will not complete. I am also running Avast. I tried running the scan in safe mode and the same thing happens. I should mention that Windows has been unable to complete and install updates for quite some time. My computer is becoming unusable. Please help!
