  1. Malwarebytes context menu missing. I "Googled" this and from their support section it says to reenable this feature in Malwarebytes located in the Application tab. Since you updated the settings tab, I found it the General tab and "Add Malwarebytes Options to Windows Explorer" is enabled, but It's still not coming up. Is there a special .exe file that I can use by adding it to the Registry or is there another way? Thanks in advance!
  2. Hello, I noticed the following has been added to the malware bytes context menu in they system tray. It looks like the malware is trying to make it easy to add it to the exclusion list... smart.. evil smart. How can I remove this? Version below. The alerts are from blocked URLs.
  3. Hi. I have solved my thread problem that was closed. I tell you so that you repair your program because it is your fault. I have several computers with malwarebytes and it works fine. In one of them, the contextual menu appears but does nothing. After months with the problem, I looked for the differences between the computers and it turns out that the environment variable of the temporary files that are usually in "c:\windows\temp" I changed it to "d:\installed programs\temp". I have changed it to "d:\temp" and the context menu now works. The fault of your program is that it can not make spaces in the path of the environment variable of temporary files. You have to repair the program because it will happen to many users. Greetings.
  4. Hello i have recently installed MB 3.3.1 on A windows 10 PC but I find that the context menu is unavailable. It is not appearing regardless of the setting below: How can this be resolved? Thanks Martin O'Shea.
  5. Just did the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. Some programs don't work anymore and need to be activated or installed again as Microsoft created an extra Recovery partition next to the existing one . In case of Malwarebytes Premium the Context Menu "Scan with Malwarebytes" doesn't work anymore. Removing and re-installing Malwarbytes doesn't solve the problem.
  6. Hi folks, A slight problem, as the title suggests, I'm unable to see anything MBAM related when I right click on a file. I've followed the instructions here but that hasn't worked. I've the latest premium version running. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, PC
  7. The issue: MB3 won't do a context menu file scan unless the user has reviewed and closed MB3 following a completed scheduled scan. It complains that it can't start a file scan while one is in progress (even though the previous scan has completed). This is a known issue; back in April, the word was that the developers were looking for a fix. Any progress?
  8. HELP I scanned with malwarebytes It suggested 42 harmful prgrams that included malware and PUPs. After quarantine, I deleted them without thinking. There were a lot of ones that had the word HKEY and root in them followed by a lot of numbers in {} brackets. Now, everytime I right click on the desktop, or an icon on the desktop, windows explorer crashes and restarts, again and again. My bitdefender somehow started showing problems and at this time I was unaware I screwed up by deleting the files, so I reinstalled. THe reinstall didn't take and now I'm unable to install it again. I'm hoping thee bitdefender part isn't related. The right click is the only issue I'm facing THAT I'M AWARE OF. I deleted 42 files all of which I need back now apparently I tried running system restore by restarting>F8>repair computer/windows>restore system(Can't remember what it was called) but it said that it cannot be done. I've just run chkdsk from elevated cmd but don't know how to read or what to do with the results. Can someone help? I'm running win 7 home professional x64 on a toshiba
  9. I'm running Windows 10, but it didn't work with Windows 8.1 either. I've selected show context menu entry, but the context menu entry is not showing when I right-click a scannable item. I have attached a screen shot because I know many of you simply will not believe that I have correctly set the context menu settings.
