  2. I have two Toughbooks for our EMS department. After I install Endpoint security, they will never be back on my network. I''ve turned off the firewall, and I still get Installation failed. Access is denied. Isn't there a way install the product without having to got through the management console? Even the Installation package which turns out to be about 160K never does what I expect it to do. Please help.
  3. Two questions - Does the Management Console automatically remove clients if they are offline for an extended period of time? If a client is removed from the console, is there a log file that records that action?
  4. OK, just got MB Corporate, and new at this. I would like to know, If PUPs can be remove from console, instead of walking around to endpoints ??? TIA, Michael
  5. Hey all, We configured our syslog settings to forward logs to our logging server. It appears to only sort of be working. We'll get a detection at 2:08AM, but they aren't forwarding to our logging server until a few hours later. And we're noticing sometimes nothing gets forwarded. Is there any better documentation outside of the "just put your syslog server settings here" that is in the Management Console? Or any hints or tips on how to make this work better?
  6. Hi Guys, I am testing MMC for awhile now and I really like it but at times, on few of the users, the Anti-exploit Shield turns off automatically. I don't know what triggers it or how to solve it. I went over to the machine/client and saw that the shield was off and saw that the anti-exploit service was off whereas anti-malware was running just fine and had no issues what so ever. Please see the photo to see what I'm talking about (in the photo I'm hovering the mouse on top of the first client hence the grey shield, not red). Any update from you guys about this issue would be really appreciated.
  7. I have been working on various console programs for clients and servers. But when I booted up my pc this day and ran one of my console applications it did nothing. A waited for a while and suddenly this popped up: Windows Error Reporting Message (WerFault.exe) Also I looked into Task Manager for something weird and I did: Modified conhost.exe So I think that a virus corrupted the console host application and broke my whole PC. When pressing cancel the last thing that pops up is this: Console Application Crash Error But without the good conhost.exe I can't do anything on my PC. Any help is appreciated.
  8. We are running Malwarebytes Management Console 1.6.0.2816 and we routinely have issues logging in and have to routinely bounce the server to get it working again. Also, we often log in to the management console and find it to be extremely sluggish with "Not Responding" being shown in the title bar. Today, a colleague was met with the attached. Please provide guidance on what to do to troubleshoot. CPU & RAM utilization are very low but let me know if there are other resources we should be checking...
  9. Hi, Not sure if this belongs here or in the false positive section (but that looks more for submitting a false positive issue). We're running the trial of Malwarebytes for Business however we can't test a lot of the functions without a false positive. We need a safe program to cause Malwarebytes to react and so we can test certain things like email the admins, cause the end computer to quarantine the program, submit a log etc. Is there something that is used to force a false positive? We need a safe program to do this and won't effect or harm anything else on the computer and the network environment. I've used the search forum section but only get results of people complaining about false positives, is there something official from Malwarebytes to force it to happen? Thanks, Sukh
  10. I seem to recall that there used to be a minimum license count required in order to get the central mgmt console. However, the current website pages and the Admin manual make no mention of this. Do I get the mgmt console even if I buy 1 or 2 or 10 licenses of AMFB?
  11. Instead of needing to authenticate to scan & push, it would be great if I could save a service account's credentials.
  12. I periodically get an error in my enterprise console that says "Login failed for user. Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool. This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached." I then have to restart the mbam service to get logged back in. This isn't such a big deal, but it resets all my cleints and they show offline until they all check back in. Anyone seen this before or have any ideas on how I can fix it? Thanks.
