  1. I saw a couple other people mention this a few threads ago in response to the azurewebsites, com situation. I ran AdwareCleaner on my laptop (new Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Starlord) and when it was finished scanning, it said there were 6 items detected (yet only 3 on the list below that notification, and so, like any normal person, I clicked to remove them. This prompted a "do you want to exit out of your things" message, so I agreed, and BAM! Blue Screen of : ( popped up on my screen. Restarted the computer, and the items were still not removed after a second scan. How am I to remove these pesky a
  2. My Malwarebytes programs worked fine until the new 3.0 update, then I kept getting an error message, "Unable to connect to service". I sent support an e-mail reference the problem and received a reply and instructions on how to solve the problem. I did each step, 1. Ran the Malwarebytes removal tool, which did delete all the files, rebooted the PC 2. downloaded the Malwarebytes 3.0, I tried to open Malwarebytes and still received the same message "Unable to connect to server". I thought there might be a conflict with my other anti virus program so I disabled it and again used the cleaner
  3. Hello. I need help!! Sorry if I make it hard to help me--I've never done anything like this before. I've had the MPC Cleaner/Desktop/AdCleaner virus on my PC for quite the while. After several attempts of trying to get it removed I've only been met with frustration!! I'm simply at my end. People I know personally have offered help with it but it has been months and still I'm sitting here, infected. Whenever I try to delete the MPC folder, I'm told that I am not the administrator of the computer and so I cannot do it. Trying to end the MPC process results in a message telling me that my ac
  4. Hi. I was listening to the radio in the backround and heard an advert for a PC "cleaner". It had that typical robotic american woman voice explaining everything it had to offer, and that made me very suspicious. After going to the website, I was hit with even more suspicions about it. I then downloaded it, the installer looked fishy yet again but the EULA looked okay. After doing a (superfast) full scan, it stated I have 254 errors on my PC. Typical run-of-the-mill rouge cleaner, except this is sponsered on a radio station. MBAM did not detect it(not as PUP, not as a threat, nothing)
  5. Hello After installing some programs, I found out that some programs such as MPC Cleaner, MPC Desktop had installed itself onto my pc. My search bar in Google Chrome was now search.safefinder.com I managed to get rid of safefinder and reset Google Chrome to normal. I tried deleting MPC Cleaner in my control panel. It didn't seem to be uninstalling, but it seemed gone from the list in my control panel. I removed the desktop shortcuts, yet when I rebooted my system the shortcuts MPC Desktop and MPC Cleaner appeared again. The folder is still there in my C:\Program Files (x86)\MPC Clean
  6. Hi, as the title says, I can't reinstall Malwarebytes. It all began, when I was installing Brutal Doom addon. I saw that for some reason, the wallpaper was pure black. I was scared and first thing I thought to do was to scan my laptop with Malwarebytes. It failed, because when I tried to run it i got "runtime error 92:137 - could not call proc" error. I tried to uninstall it, but..... "runtime error 92:137 - could not call proc". I used the mbam-clean.exe to uninstall it. Meanwhile, I downloaded setup for Malwarebytes. When the laptop rebooted, I opened the setup and... " runtime error
  7. Hello, I really need help. After my dad used the pc, I found two programs: Yessearch and MPC cleaner. I immediately uninstalled them with Revo Uninstaller, but there is a system process (MPCProtectService.exe) locked, in fact I can't get rid of it neither using task manager nor with Unlocker... When I try to kill the process it displays me "access denied". I scanned multiple times the computer with Avast and Malwarebytes, but MPC cleaner seems good for both of them. Furthermore this virus/malware has a lot of .exe files in its folder, but every letter is showed like a square, as you can see i

  9. F Secure 2012 Anti Virus and Malwarebytes: I have been using Malwarebyets for several years and my F Secure anti virus software was just recently upgraded to F Secure 2012 which I was required to re-install. Unfortunately without my consent and bare knowledge (I just happened to glance at the screen) F-Secure deleted my whole Malwarebytes software. I have not re-installed Malwarebytes yet (I'm dealing with a very slow Windows and trying to fix that). My Questions: 1) Does anybody have any experience with running F-Secure and Malwarebytes (For future problems etc) 2) Are there any known pr
