Hi! I'm a new user, just downloaded Malwarebytes and after installing it, I immediately started a scan. The problem is that it's been "checking for updates" for the past two and a half hours and there has been literally no progress. It's making my computer run so slowly that I can't even open up a browser window and had to do all of this from my phone. Is it normal for it to be taking so long to check for updates? I downloaded the latest version so I can't imagine it must need to do that much updating in the first place. It also won't allow me to click on the cancel or pause buttons!
It's telling me my updates are not current but each time I hit "check for updates" it checks for half a second then goes back to "check for updates"...? Kind of irritating, I'd like to get this updated. I've power cycled and that didn't work so I'm not sure what my next option would be.
I get a red triangle on the MBAM icon in the task trey to check for updates. When I click to get updates, I get a box saying updates not current. It keeps doing this each time I click to get the updates. Finally, after rebooting, that goes away until the next day. I don't understand what is happening with this. Do you? I find it to be real nuisance! If this is what it takes to use this, then I am all OUT and will not renew my subscripton. Malware version 3.2.2 component pkg 1.0.212 update pkg 1.0.3139
Updates were working correctly a couple of weeks ago but for whatever reason have stopped. I click on the "Check for Updates" button but it's keeps telling me "Updates are not current." I've uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck using the MBAM tools. mb-check-results.zip mb-clean-results.txt
