  1. Hello. I've seen this thread before but I'm assuming it's a case by case issue. I can't install Malware Bytes on my windows 10 pc. It keeps crashing and I think it's being caused by some malicious software that I would like to scan for. The install process keeps failing. Can you help?
  2. After running a scan and identifying and removing a few threats related to the QSearch/ChillTab search engine virus (which I have been dealing with and trying to rid my machine of for a while now), I was prompted to restart my machine. Once I logged back in and tried to open Malwarebytes again, I got a message saying "The Application is Damaged - please download and install a new copy of the software to replace the damaged files" (see first screenshot here: https://imgur.com/a/DzEqVMU). So I downloaded the software again and tried to install and got a message saying "The Installatio

  4. Hi, I recently purchased MalwareBytes, cause there where pop ups on every single Youtube video I loaded. Recently, my screen started to act werid, the background looks like if the picture has been overexposed in Photoshop. As I downloaded the MB3, Windows pops a screen that says that I can't run the set up as it may be dangerous. I've seen around the forum this is something that has happened to other users. I already ran the FRST tool (I'm attaching the result if it is of any help), as pretty much is what I can do, cause the MBAR won't load neither. I really appreciate any help yo

  6. So, recently, my computer BSODed and I managed to fix that problem by messing around with service settings. However, now, when I try to install any antivirus, It says that the resource is in use, even right after a reboot. I believe this is a rootkit, because it happens in safe mode as well. I am attaching the FRST logs from a scan. Addition.txt FRST.txt
