  1. Recently, while going about my normal browsing and communicating with a friend through hangouts. Images sent by my friend and profile pictures were crossed out. I attempted uninstalling and reinstalling as this has never happened before but it still happened regardless. I found that it was blocking and element from google itself. I am able to unblock these elements but that does not seem like a proper solution. Any chance somebody could inform me as to why this suddenly changed?
  2. I have the same problem since yesterday. Computer is freezing shortly after booting. I get the message on every program, that window is not responding. Have to boot in safe mode. As soon as I deactivate Malwarebytes Services, everything is working well. I already updated to 3.4.4 before, it has to do with a signature update, released somewhere after Thursday, 8.3.2018. On Wednesday, everything was well with 3.4.4.
  3. I was using version 3.3.1 without any issue with the performance of my PC and Laptop. But since I installed version 3.4.4, when the computer starts, not only the PC, also the Laptop seems to freeze and stops responding. I thought it was an issue with MS update. so, I made a clean install of W10, updated, installed my applications and everything was working great. But after installing MWB 3.4.4, I had the same issue again, and both stopped responding. After forcing reset on both machines and disabled strting MWB with windows, everything worked again. At the moment I disabled MWB and will wait, if anyone else has this problem. Maybe I go back to version 3.3.1, which was working very well and had no issue with the performance of the computer.
  4. Same problem with my Windows10 machine. I knew it was MWB 3.4.4 because it was the last update I did prior to having the problem. My machine booted slow and eventually was locked up. I could not even launch task manager to see what service was bogging down. I had to force power down and try again. Same problem. I eventually booted in Safe Mode, disabled MWB by making it a manual startup, and my machine booted and worked perfectly. You have a problem with 3.4.4 that needs to be addressed.
  5. Hello, I updated my free version to the new a week ago and am currently on the premium trial. I've noticed that my usual threat scan takes longer than normal and my computer randomly freezes at various points. I was worried that I was infected but both the threat scan and the full custom scan showed no threats detected. The scan for rootkits option is enabled in my settings. AVG has shown no detections either. Looking at the forums, it seems like everyone's been having issues with the 3.4.4 version so I'm wondering if that is what's causing it. If so, should I just wait for the next update? When will that be?
  6. Having exactly the same problem as everyone else, MWB working perfectly BEFORE the update to Have removed MWB and PC is back to its usual speedy self. Will leave MWB off the system till a fix has been sorted
  7. FileAssassin is missing the shell extentions in the Windows Explorer context menu. This only happens on my x64 system. Otherwise FileAssassin is fully functional on the computer. Is it a bug or perhaps a compatibility issue? Is there a fix or a workaround to restore them? edit: clarified what the issue was
