  1. Hi there! For about two, maybe three, weeks? I've been having an issue with Malwarebytes flagging random things at outbound trojans. When I scan, neither application is finding anything. (The only thing ADW flags is the default pre-installed HP programmes and Claro Reader which is an accessibility software I use, but I've never had a reason to uninstall those.) It possibly started when I downloaded Valheim from Steam, or that may have been the first time I actively noticed it. To summarise: Every time I open the Valheim, Malwarebytes immediately flags it as an outbound trojan. Then it started to do it with Clip Studio Paint, the art software I use for work, when I opened up the in-app store. Flagging it as an outbound trojan. (This stopped once I updated CSP to the newest version.) Today, it's now doing it with Discord, and refusing to let me update discord because it's being flagged as an outbound trojan. I've done a Windows update, which made no difference. I've also updated both Malwarebytes, and ADW Cleaner. It should be noted that when I've run these scans, they were in Normal mode, still connected to the internet. I can't seem to work out what the problem is, and I can't find anyone with a similar problem when I google this issue. But this is becoming a problem as I need Discord for working from home, and being unable to access this is not good, very bad, please help. I've downloaded the Malwarebytes Support Tool and attached the log to this post, cause that's what I've seen asked for on other posts? mbst-grab-results.zip
  2. Hi there, I'm new to this but I can't find an answer to this or anything similar, sorry. I liked and used Trend Micro's Dr Cleaner - it is free, minimal resources and lets you know what it is doing, freeing up memory and disc space on the fly on software removal (something I do a lot as I try random bits of software and find out it doesn't do what you have been led to believe it will do!) but Apple decided that Trends reporting your usage back to Trend violated privacy rules Apple banned it. It now has been removed from the Apple store but I still have a copy but Malwarebytes has found it and keeps putting it in quarantine. My question is is there any way to ask/tell Malwarebytes to ignore this application? Unless you feel it's a much worse threat than I'm aware of and I will abide by the advice of Apple and Malwarebytes.
  3. I want to prevent adobe.com from reporting back to the internet and change my settings. Can I block the outgoing traffic with malwarebyte for any arbitrary application already installed ?
  4. I've downloaded malwarebytes a couple of times now, and it won't open. I've tried moving to different folders, etc. What am I doing wrong? Nothing opens, there is no option to drag to applications.
  5. As stated, I need help regarding this. I've tried to clean remove MBAM and re-install it but to no avail. When I run the installer, it states, "CreateFile failed; code 80. The file exists". And when I tried searching it, I can't find the file. I uninstalled my outdated Avast Antivirus and installed the latest one, and the program won't run either. Can anyone kindly assist me with this? ):
  6. Not sure if I can be assisted with this here, but I'm deciding to post on here because I can't seem to find a solution to the problem. When I start my computer up I've been getting this message. msseces.exe - Application Error The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application. This is in regards to Microsoft Security Essentials as it will not start, and thus I have no anti-virus protection. Assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.
