  1. Hello. My name is Ane Mari Tache from the Innovative Solutions Grup. We are the developers of the Orange Defender PRO program. It seems that your AV program Malwarebytes is flagging our program as PUP.Optional.OrangeDefender on VirusTotal. As a software developer I can strongly and sincerely vouch that the files bellow don't contain any malware or PUP files. I have worked on these products, and know with 100% certainty that they don't contain malware. Please either whitelist our products or tell us, in detail, why they are considered malware. We would gladly cooperate with you in order to fix this problem which is damaging to us and to our users (and, by extension, to your users, also). Here is the download link: https://www.orange-defender.com/ Kind regards, Ane Mari Tache
  2. I have Malwarebytes Premium Antivirus. Armed with this, do I need any other Antivirus Software on my Laptop i.e. Avast Free Antivirus? Thank you Purrington
  3. Hi, I'm on Windows 10. I noticed today that my Kaspersky Total Security software basically disappeared. This might have happen days, weeks ago, I only noticed today. But that's not all as I also have the an empty Windows Defender Security At a Glance Menu, I can't reinstall Kaspersky (I can download the set up, but when I run it then the process is blocked, can't download). I have tried to install other antiviruses, all are blocked and can't install. I managed to install Malwarebytes Antimalwares, AdwCleaner, Antirootkit, Spybot, and run them. They remove some stuff, but still I can't install back my antivirus. I tried to repair windows 10 by updating it, but once again, I can download the set up, but when I run it it has to download some stuff and this get blocked. So I can't repair windows. I guess my computer might be infected by something that protects itself. I hope you'll be able to help me. It's my first time on such a help forum, I hope I didn't miss anything, otherwise don't hesitate to tell me. Many thanks in advance. Marc

  5. Hi, I have Norton Security installed and running on my computer. Can I have Malwarebytes simultaneously runing on the same PC? Do you consider that this is a good idea? Because I am not an expert on cybersecurity, I would like to know your oppinion. Do both programs working together cover more harmfull cases than only one?' Maybe it is a bad idea? or Maybe not? Thank you very much in advance!😉
  6. Hi! We currently have the Kaspersky Endpoint Security and MalwareBytes Endpoint Security installed an 100 PC. Just bought the MB ENDPOINT PROTECTION AND RESPONSE and plan to migrare all users as soon as I learn the basics. My question is, Do you think is safe to keep only MalwareBytes and not an Antivirus software? Sales representative said is OK but would like your opinion. I don't see the ANTI-RANSOMWARE module to be installed so I understand is not needed with this version. Thanks in advance!!! Best Regards
  7. Hi, AFAIK, conventional wisdom used to say that a computer should only use one antivirus software, because it might interfere with another. Does this still hold true? I'm thinking about subscribing to Malwarebytes Premium. Thanks, mac b
  8. Hi there! Throughout the past few months, I've had problems running my Win7 Professional 64-bit PC rig properly. The problem showed as intermittent freezing of the whole operating system every now and then, let's say once in an hour or so, for around 5-15 min at a time. Meaning; I can't click on anything from the task bar, the mouse cursor turns into the spinning circle (as in; waiting, waiting ...); everything that I click on or type is stored in some kind of a buffer that then gets "released" after the clog re-opens. I am running ESET Internet Security 2018 (the latest version; 12.0.27.0) as well as Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium (the latest version as well; 3.6.1.2711) I have gone thru the problem on ESET's forums as well; https://forum.eset.com/topic/15962-eset-internet-security-updates-hang-up-as-well-as-sites-like-windows-update/?_fromLogin=1 Sorting out different possibilities within the last few months and I've indeed realized that it's ESET Internet Security 2018 and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Pro/Premium conflicting with each other. Turning off Malwarebytes actually solved the problem altogether. However, I went thru Malwarebytes' website to see all the listed components of MBAM that should be added to i.e. ESET's exclusion list, and that did NOT solve the problem. Now as I'm running Malwarebytes again, the freeze-up problem has also returned as usual. Disabling MBAM = no problems, no freeze-ups. The two software used to work just fine together before this summer. I've tried googling up the ESET+MBAM combo and potential pitfalls and tried to check that I've got them all in order. These problems didn't start until the autumn of this year, however. Before that, I had been running ESET+MBAM side by side without any problems. So, since I already have the exclusion list done, is there any certain modules in ESET that should NOT be enabled while MBAM is also running? I can't reply to the original thread on ESET's forums [see link above in this post] since the thread has been closed (and I did not receive any messages of anyone actually replying to me), and now I'm wondering what should I do next. The thing is that ESET and MBAM both detect i.e. realtime web threats differently. Throughout the past few years, both of the programs have caught up with potential threats in time, sometimes it's been MBAM, sometimes it's been ESET that has caught the lurking culprit. So, I really wouldn't want to start disabling real-time protection features too heavily. All help is kindly appreciated. Thank you.
