When user access files via share on a server with MBAM installed and MBAR enabled, the user is told that the file is in use by another user. If we turn off MBAR the issue goes away. We do not want to disable MBAR permanently or else there is no point in spending a fortune on MBAM in the first place.
The Anti-ransomware in Malwarebytes has stopped several times on its own. I reboot the computer and it is working again. I also run Kaspersky Internet security, but have exclusions to ignore Malwarebytes... Is there some possible malware stopping this service or ransomware lurking in the background? Anybody know of another possible reason?
About 2 months ago we started having problems with our Windows 7 machines getting stuck on shutting down during a shutdown or reboot process. We've narrowed the problem down to Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware. If we uninstall and reinstall it the problem goes away but it seems whenever we get windows updates it breaks it again. Anyone else see this problem and have a more permanent fix? We are running Anti-Ransomware for business 0.9.17.689
