  2. I can not delete the adware in an key under folder of Chrome in the regestration editor, if I try to delete it is my access denied, if I want to change the owner the access is denied, and if I try it with the help of the registrar registry Manager to delete it, I get the error message ACCESS DENIED I want to delete the key permanently to eliminate the adware finally. The Adware cleaner is scanning the Adware but it can't remove it. I tried many programms but no one helped me, the Adware is still there. the Key Path is named: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Google\Chrome\NativeMessagingHosts\com.microsoft.browsercore
  3. It seems like i caught a very nasty adware virus that always reinstalls itself after some time. Adwcleaner, RKill and Malwarebytes didnt help so far and im out of options, ill attach a screenshot of the Scan from Malwarebytes.
  4. I've been scanning my computer over 10 times and i've restarted it over 10 times. Even after i've removed it several times, it still there. What should i do to get rid of it?
  5. I had a topic on this subject that ran from May, 2018 to November, 2018; then it was closed because I was not going to be available for several weeks. The problem is still there: AdwCleaner finds adware, cleans & repairs, restarts; then when Windows 10 Home comes back up, the adware is still there. I have Malwarebytes Premium running every day, but it apparently is not finding it. Today, I also ran Avast boot-time scan, and it did not help. The only thing that seemed to make a difference today was running in safe mode. I ran AdwCleaner a couple of times in safe mode, and it found no threats on the 2nd run. Here is a link to the original topic, and the actions taken then: Here are the registry items that Adware found on one of the occasions today: Deleted HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\FirewallRules|{733EFF95-917E-40F7-949C-7A22DE5D0A86} Deleted HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\FirewallRules|{3F74161B-3139-44C1-978F-09A0CCD51C56} Deleted HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\FirewallRules|{AF3B9589-F5B3-42C9-8589-5A345219119F} Deleted HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\FirewallRules|{CF181CEC-C873-4FF5-BCE9-08CD3BF79811} Deleted HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\FirewallRules|{5B5CD0A4-C058-4668-B0C1-0CF10855CBD7} Deleted HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\FirewallRules|{348A715D-A143-4D6B-A289-C8756D753C53} I have attached several AdwCleaner logs from today. 6. Hello all, I started the new thread as https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/1871102-windows-10-us-language-repeatedly-returns?page=1#entr... was solved. I am a freelance translator so I have installed these keyboards on my notebook: Czech, English (UK), Italian (Italy), French (France), German (Germany) and I recently also installed Serbian (in Latin) on my notebook (in the Czech Republic) but did not notice a box for the "main language" (did not remember anymore) was ticked. I tried to uninstall it easily with the control panel, but under Hours and Regions, there is NO Language bar (simply missing). I tried to add it, but it seemed to be too complicated. Then I tried to simply uninstall the Serbian in Latin with the command lpksetup.exe /u sr-Latn-RS but even when I did the Serbian text reappears anywhere (in some applications etc.), so I repeat the uninstall... then it recovers again. When looking into the registry I found that apart from a Language folder, there is also a Language Groups folder: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Nls\Language Groups BTW, should there normally be a Language Groups folder? Then I realized there are about 3-4 lpksetup.exe.mui files not in the C:/Windows/System32/ apart from the lpksetup.exe file correctly placed at C:/Windows/System32/ So I installed the latest AdwCleaner 7.2.3 but lpksetup.exe.mui files are stil there. Another thing you should know is this one: under the Start-Settings-Region and Language there is under "Language": Display Language of Windows: only Czech and underneath there is Preferred languages there is Serbian. Could you please help me to find a solution as I have seen so many pages in order to find a solution but without any success. Thank you very much in advance for your feedbacks. Milada
  7. 8. The latest version of AdwCleaner will not restart when running basic repair. Does anyone have any suggestions?
  9. I refreshed Windows 10 and installed Chrome and Adobe Reader from their corresponding website and installed Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner later. When I ran Malwarebytes, it classified a threat as malware, name is MachineLearning/Anomalous.100%, location is C:\PROGRAMDATA\ADOVE\ARM\{291AA914-A987-4CE9-BD63-AC0A92D435E5}\BITA73A.TMP (I took note of this). For AdwCleaner, it detected 2 Chromium Search Provider: Ask and AOL. It took 2 times to remove both of them (1st time AOL failed). And I think either MBAM or AdwCleaner detected some registry keys relating to IObit Uninstaller on Edge. I proceeded to do a clean installation of Windows 10 using my boot flashdrive. I do not know if I can re-install Chrome, IObit Uninstaller and Adobe Reader. Anyone has same issues? Those are pretty common softwares and the fact that there is malware, PUP and strange registry keys made me scare to install any software on my system now.

  12. I downloaded something I shouldn't have and now it has installed what I think is adware, random tabs open up on google weather its open or not and they lead to the same two websites. I've installed AdwCleaner to remove the 51 threats, all 50 where removed but one that keeps coming back its name is "MSN Homepage & Bing Search Engine" I keep scanning and every time it picks up on it but never removes it. I really wanna know why AdwCleaner doesn't get rid of the 1 last threat on my computer?
  13. Hello all. I'm constantly having to untick a task after scan as I don't wish it to be cleaned - task is situated C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\Driver Booster Scheduler - but none of the entries to add it under work, I though 'File' would be best but it states to "insert an existing file", if the file isn't there why does a scan find it. How do I add this to the exclusion list? Thanks,

  15. Hi there. I just signed up after finding out with a quick and first scan ever of AdwCleaner that I am infected with PUP.Optional.Legacy. There were about 3 other PUP infections that were easily removed upon restart. This one kept coming back up with a new scan right away. Here are the logs of the AdwCleaner scan. 16. I have a dell inspiron desktop, and I think I messed up the operating system a bit using malware removers. I ran ADWcleaner, it restarted my computer, and now I cannot log in. At the log in screen I enter my password, and no matter if I press enter or click login, nothing happens. (Sometimes if I press space/click with the mouse, it restarts.) I'm a bit worried about what I messed up. Especially that I cannot get to safe mode (since the computer loads so fast). The computer is about a week old, and I have not yet prepared an USB stick for recovery, and Dell did not send any DVDs, USB drives with the win10 (yeah, win10- what do I do if I need to reinstall?) Any advice would be much appreciated.
  17. After a scan and clicking "clean and repair", a popup comes up. English version: "All windows will be closed. Please save your current work before continuing." Dutch version: This says "All processes are closed. Please save your current work before continuing". The first part should be "Alle vensters zullen gesloten worden." to be correct. Also note that the GUI apparently isn't ready for translations since button widths aren't adaptive... I used adwcleaner for the first time on a relative's machine that's sadly set to display in dutch, and since I wasn't familiar with this popup, I interpreted it as an informative statement that all my browsers were closed at that moment (as they should be), not that continuing would close all windows. My opinion that software should never be translated because there are always subtle but important mistakes in them grows stronger every time I use translated software...

  19. AdwCleaner 7.1.1 is the first intermediate release since the major 7.1.0 release a few weeks ago, that you can refer on this forum announcement. This new update provides several new features, beginning by the ability to stop killing specific processes that are added in the exclusion list. This will allow to not keep some programs running while AdwCleaner performs its cleaning. Another addition is the ability to disable telemetry using a new toggle in the settings. This is this telemetry that help us to see which families of infections are spreading so that we can further improve the engine and our backend system to make them more efficient - it's extremely helpful for us if you keep it on! Last but not least (and this is a feature that has been asked for a long time): it's now possible to navigate in the UI with the keyboard only. A mouse or touchpad is no longer required! This should also help screen readers and accessibility tools to use AdwCleaner (and wee are looking for testers on this part, any help would be much appreciate - please reach me by PM!). On top of those three main features, various UI improvements and detections changes have been included in this release. Please see the whole changelog below: # New Features - Exclusions now support processes - New setting to fully disable the telemetry - Support keyboard navigation with tabs # Changes - Add a "See logfile" button on scan results screen - Scan shortcuts, files and folders in more locations - Improve tasks detection - Definitions 2018.04.24.1 # Bugfixes - Various UI issues - Update translations - Fix false positives - Improve generics for drivers More information: Download webpage: https://malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner FAQ: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/225289-announcing-adwcleaner-71/?do=findComment&comment=1230229

The only thing i found about INETCTLS.INET is 1: Microsoft Internet Transfer Control 2: an object (InetCtls.Inet) that permits to get a page from another site
  21. Can I delete ALL of the registers, programs, keys that the ADW cleaner found in the Scan process. Good afternoon! Tell me, can I delete ALL of the registers, programs, keys that the ADW cleaner found in the Scan process. Those. Will this harm my PERSONAL data on my computer? Will there be any addblock ad extensions in the browser? I attach the LOG of the scan result to the ADW cleaner. Thank you, I await your reply. Sincerely, New User.
  22. Hi, I keep getting a threat detection from adwcleaner about an extension on Chrome, I tried several ways to get rid of it, but it isnt working, any ideas? img attached
  23. Hey, huge fan over here, have been using mbam since version 1.2x ! I also like adwcleaner a lot and thought this acquisition made much sense, but what about you integrate AdwCleaner into MBAM so that they are one program?
  24. I just downloaded and ran the new version of AdwCleaner. The program deleted Ask and also shows: Delete Tracing Keys and Reset Winsock. The new version is much different. Could anyone help me understand how to use it correctly?
  25. I need some advice. I get a lot of phishing emails with links that I do not click onto. Most from Banks that I have no account. I went to what I think/thought was Malwarebytes website trying to get some practical advice. I started emails back and forth with "Maurice" from what seemed to be from Malwarebytes support. BTW, I was given support ticket 2263884. It involved links to click and download a tool kit, Adwrcleaner directory was installed. I followed instructions and sent ".txt" reports. I got follow-up emails and then noticed the email was from support@mwb.zendesk.com. Just in case, I did a Google search and found (written in some gamer site) that Malwarebytes doesn't use zendesk. Now I'm getting worried after reading that there are fake Malwarebyte sites that can get you. I followed the advice to download free trial of Ccleaner. I ran scan with Ccleaner, fixed all recommended problems, uninstalled Malwarebytes and re-installed it fresh from known website. I deleted the Adware directory. There was an exe file in it. (I forgot what it was.) I scanned with clean Malwarebytes and no threat found. version So I need to know, is my support ticket real or fake? I forwarded the email directly to support@malwarebytes.com and I am waiting for an answer. Feeling a little nervous, Any help out there in this forum? I am new to it. Did I over react and/ or how do I know I'm clean?
