  1. Hi! I can't solve the problem with removing viruses. The AdwCleaner program shows that it has found two viruses, one of which is quarantined. However, I can't find the virus in the Quarantine section in the program, and all the folders are empty in the folder C:\AdwCleaner\Quarantine\v1. During the restart, it shows that no viruses were found, but when you restart Google Chrome and the AdwCleaner program, both viruses appear again. I tried to completely remove Google Chrome and install it again - it didn't help. I tried to disable all extensions in the browser - it didn't help. I think that the virus got caught when I allowed notifications to be shown on one of the sites, because after that, news began to appear in the Windows 10 notifications panel. I removed the notifications in the Google Chrome settings, but AdwCleaner still shows the presence of a virus. I also tried to check the computer using AdwCleaner version 7.4.2. It didn't help either. I attach all the logs. Thank you in advance for your help! Best regards, Dmitry AdwCleaner_Debug.logAdwCleaner[S17].txtAdwCleaner[C17].txt
  2. What is SearchGo? The Malwarebytes research team has determined that SearchGo is adware. These adware applications display advertisements not originating from the sites you are browsing. How do I know if my computer is affected by SearchGo? You may see this new service: How did SearchGo get on my computer? Adware applications use different methods for distributing themselves. This particular one was bundled with other software. How do I remove SearchGo? Our program Malwarebytes can detect and remove this potentially unwanted program. Please download Malwarebytes to your desktop. Double-click mb3-setup-consumer-{version}.exe and follow the prompts to install the program. Then click Finish. Once the program has fully updated, select Scan Now on the Dashboard. Or select the Threat Scan from the Scan menu. If another update of the definitions is available, it will be implemented before the rest of the scanning procedure. When the scan is complete, make sure that all Threats are selected, and click Remove Selected. Restart your computer when prompted to do so. Is there anything else I need to do to get rid of SearchGo? No, Malwarebytes removes SearchGo completely. How would the full version of Malwarebytes help protect me? We hope our application and this guide have helped you eradicate this adware. As you can see below the full version of Malwarebytes would have protected you against the SearchGo adware. It would have warned you before the adware could install itself, giving you a chance to stop it before it became too late.
