  1. I refreshed Windows 10 and installed Chrome and Adobe Reader from their corresponding website and installed Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner later. When I ran Malwarebytes, it classified a threat as malware, name is MachineLearning/Anomalous.100%, location is C:\PROGRAMDATA\ADOVE\ARM\{291AA914-A987-4CE9-BD63-AC0A92D435E5}\BITA73A.TMP (I took note of this). For AdwCleaner, it detected 2 Chromium Search Provider: Ask and AOL. It took 2 times to remove both of them (1st time AOL failed). And I think either MBAM or AdwCleaner detected some registry keys relating to IObit Uninstaller on Edge. I proceede
  2. Starting on Friday the 13th, I've been having a lot of trouble. I suspect a virus. The first problem I noticed was with Firefox, my default browser. It would not launch. When I look in Task Manager only about 8000kb loads into memory and then it chokes. Sometimes if I reboot I can get Firefox to open. But if I click the wrong thing it hangs or freezes. Once that happens Firefox is "tainted" somehow and it gets stuck at around 8000kb no matter what I try. Once this happens I can't get my back-up browsers (Chrome, Opera, etc.) to launch either. While struggling with that I found that I cou
  3. I have installed the latest MB3, version 3.0.6.1469., with Component Package 1.0.96, with update package version 1.0.1639. It seems to work fine (NO BSOD now!), but I have found that when I open an Outlook 2013 (local client) email that contains a PDF attachment, I get an error window saying that the Protected mode will not work with my current system configuration, if I double-click it to open it inline dynamically. I have to select the "Protected Mode Off" radio button to allow it to open this way. Opening the same item directly from Adobe Reader once detached works fine. Note tha
  4. OK, I updated to this latest version on my Windows 10 machine and now Chrome and Firefox and Adobe Reader have stopped working and will only work if I turn Anti-Exploit protection OFF for each of those apps. I deactivated, uninstalled, ran MB-clean, with reboots in between all step, reinstalled and reactivated and still having the same problem. I was asked to start a new topic and include all of these logs that I attached. Please advise. Thanks FRST.txt logs.zip MB-CheckResult.txt A
