  3. Every time I unlock my tablet, I'm shortly redirected to an ad (usually to dating sites or "I'm A Lucky Winner!" sites) even if I'm not on a search engine. When I hold the home button, then go back into the app I was on, the ad disappears. Virus detectors didn't spot anything. My battery drains faster than ever, but I'm not sure the ads are responsible. Nothing too harmful has happened, but I'd like to remove this problem just in case something more serious happens. Thanks!

  5. Hi There, I have been having a few problems with Adware.Elex recently, but turns out the problem has stemmed from quite a long time ago. I have been trying my best to fight off the terribly annoying adware but every scan and quarantine i do it just keeps coming back stronger and stronger. I think it has something to do with my Internet Explorer, but im on Windows 10 and i think it shouldnt be there in the first place seeing that IE was replaced by Edge. Any help would be so greatly appreciated, im tempted to wipe my whole boot drive clean and start fresh. attached are 2

  7. Hi, I unfortunately am here due to some malware content I have on my computer which occurred by clicking on a link to download a font. The symptoms at first were that there were several added extensions in chrome which would create pop up links from happening. Once I noticed the problem I ran malware bytes and also Adwcleaner which found a few items. I figured that problem was ok since the extensions did not load on every chrome opening, but that was not the case. Now what happens is every time I click on a link that opens in a new window or a gmail desktop notification it will link to a
  8. We utilize AD and GP's for our end user desktops, MBAM thinks they are malicious keys. I figured the MSP version would be aware of this, however that's not the case. Is there a way around this issue? 9. Hi there, we are running the trial of MEE and ran into a problem, where after scanning our AD, some computers show up fine but most show as if though they are in a different domain. The domain column shows a totally different domain than the one they are in. I've confirmed all computers in our AD are under our domain. I guess my question is why.how did MEE get the domain name wrong? I am unable to deploy to any of them. Thanks
  10. Ever since i had installed the adblock plugin for my google chrome browser, I've been getting various types of ads, such as: 1) the highlighted text ad: http://snag.gy/CtKoh.jpg these things highlight texts that are not links and are really annoying when i accidentally click them, thinking its a link. 2) the classic pop-up ad : http://snag.gy/3xxV8.jpg 3) alnaddy.com : http://snag.gy/EOjXi.jpg This site is the most annoying as everytime i start up google chrome (my default browser) this comes as the home page when I clearly set it to google, and everytime i'm just browsing this site p

  12. First off, I really appreciate the help, don't think (know) this would be a big problem but I don't feel confident with this malware on my PC. I started getting these annoying pop up ads for some Chinese role-playing game at the lower bottom right corner of my screen when i try to connect to websites (not just Chinese ones, so I realized that there was something on my PC). The pop ups come with sound (how nice). I installed Malwarebytes Anti Malware and activated the full version trial then ran a scan. Found and quarantined "PUP.TollbarDownloader" in an exe file I had downloaded (and I guess e
