I have Access Policies turned on and I can shutdown MBAM from the tray with not being asked for a password.
I can also kill the mbam.exe and mbamtray.exe from task manager without any resistance.
I'm pretty sure that this was not possible in 2.0. One of the reasons I liked MBAM was the fact that you couldn't maliciously shut it down.
I have personally experienced exploits that knew to shutdown mbam.exe which is why I knew about Access Policies and had them set to prevent malicious shut down of my protection.
Is there something I'm missing? This is a very real thing!
