  1. Mac OS Catalina Version 10.15.4, Safari 13.1 on MacBook Air. Malwarebytes paid premium license thru 8/24/2020. Have rec'd messages advising contact Malware developer, legacy software not supported, something to do with file extensions. True, please? Bought it at suggestion of Apple Genius for older MacBook Pro, now replaced by this one. Can't locate these messages to show you. Today's message differed from those that preceded it. Made it sound as though Malware protection is no longer able to protect this MacBook. Can you explain, please? Asked AppleCare on phone a couple weeks ago. Was told t
  2. Hi I have Malwayrebyte premium 3.0.6 which I like very much. I am on windows 10, professionnal, 32 bits. I would like to make a "threat scan" daily" and a "custom deeper" scan once a week. It seem to be impossible. When aI schedule one or the other, and change type of scan, it change both scheduled type. I retried many times, being very careful about selecting just one of the scan (and checking the over button) but now way. Whatever I do, ti change both to Normal or Custom. I really cannot schedule two differnt type of scan, which I would need. NOTE (edited) I finally get to
  3. Hi, im using Malwarebytes Premium 3.0.5 and i have a question. I got a warning that some malware was found and i selected them all (3) and then hit the button (clean/quarantine?) but it is still moving items to the quarantine location now, it's already 3300+ now, what is going on ?
  4. Every time I boot-up I get the message "Turn on protection", despite the fact that all protection is enabled. I experimented with the delayed protection feature, but it makes no difference. I would like an option to not warm me about certain statuses, rather than nag me. I'm a power user, I know when I turn something off, but I don't want constant nag screens. Otherwise I'm happy with the fact that version 3 incorporates anti-exploit and anti-ransomware, which means I have two programs I don't need to run now. Is there a way to stop this pop-up (see attachment), without changing wind
  5. Just after running Ccleaner Free v.5.08.5308 (64bit) I received a "Ransomware Detected" notification. I have also added Norton Security Suite to my MBARW exclusions but continue to notice Norton Blocks or MBARW. A Norton block occurred as the ransomeware detected notification appeared. Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.zip MBAMService.zip Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.zip
  6. The "Make sure this comes from a trusted site" message should be documented on the download page. If not, you may lose participants who don't expect it.
  7. Recently I discovered suspect IP addresses in Web Exclusions field under Settings. I did not put them there knowingly. I have sought advice on this. I have deleted the IP addresses and run MBAM and AV software and do not think I have any infection. My concern however is that the green smiley face and message ... Your system is fully protected ... is inconsistent with the presence of rogue IP addresses in Web Exclusions. I am not a computer expert but have sufficient interest to discover these exclusions and join and post to a forum. I suspect that many (the majority?) of users would be happy
  8. A short time ago I heard about the Torch web browser. It seemed pretty interesting and better than Internet Explorer so I wanted to try it out. I went and tried to download it on the Torch website. However, when I downloaded it, McAfee and Malwarebytes went crazy and were able to stop Torch from causing an harm. After that experience I did some research. As it turns out a small number of users (and I mean really scarce) reported that it contain Adware and other kinds of crazy stuff. So beware of the Torch web browser and don't be stupid like me.
  9. Quite suddenly I have been getting alerts that MWBs has blocked Agile.vpn from accessing a site known as 'cashclicks'. I am told that Agile.vpn is a microsoft product & part of the operating system for W7. Is this program safe? Why is trying to access websites without my knowledge? Do I need to keep it or can I stop it starting?
  10. Hi, I have been getting a lot of "File could not be opened" warnings when scanning with malwarebyes. I reduced the messages drastically by getting Firefox to delete temporary files at end of session and using a Windows cleanup utility, but the warnings at the bottom of this post persist. I suspect that the files might be left over from a windows update or something and may no longer be needed. I do not know why malwarebytes cannot open them. They do not seem like the kind of folder that contains active files. I am not sure how much danger there might be that they could hide malwa
