  1. Hi, I am running into a issue with my system taking forever to start, shutdown, running programs, and starting programs as well. I have had Malwarebytes Premium and used Windows defender and it worked great. However I decided to go with Kaspersky Internet Security because it was a deal I got at Walmart,. I have had nothing but dreadfully slow response times on this computer that its driving me up the wall. I am new to this and really trying to make my computer run fast with Malwarebytes Premium and Kaspersky. I have tried everything I could find online. I did the exclusions and turned off
  2. Since I bought the Malwarebytes software and it was installed on my pc, my pc has slowed tremendously and my tray icons at the bottom of my screen stopped working. I have to restart my pc to get them to work. I performed the threat scan and everything was ok according to it. I read in one of the forums to download farbar but when I started to do that, all kinds of warnings popped up everywhere which scared me to death and I decided not to risk it. Can you help? Thanks
  3. A little while ago tonight, my desktop slowed to crawl. Applications unresponsive, opening one taking two minutes, etc. when I finally got Task Manager open (W7 64bit), I saw this. I was not running a scan. It took the computer about 7 minutes just to reboot, then it was fine. What does this signify? Thanks.
  4. Hello, I'm having an issue with my computer that Malwarebytes isn't resolving. After downloading a certain program my computer instantly started running programs slower and connecting to the internet slower as well as not being able to connect. I haven't seen anything obvious in programs and features and can't figure anything else out. 5. I'm having issues with the sppsvc service, it says it consumes 99 of CPU... I just wiped clean my computer with the Windows Recovery setting and I still have the same problem... I also tried disabling the registry for the sppsvc and it's still there on Task Manager and it prevents me from moving my backup folder to my computer since it's so slow and says it'll take 14 hours or more. Any more ideas? Here's the files from FRST: Addition.txt FRST.txt
  6. So lately, I've discovered a program that is running and in the startup called svcmcx. I don't know what it is for but searching through the internet, I see that it is a trojan or something. It's probably why I keep getting Safe Search as my search engine. I can't even start up Malwarebytes anymore!! Can someone tell me what to do to get rid of this? Thanks
  7. Hello. For the past many months my computer has been obnoxiously slow, giving a horrendous frame rate with even the simplest of games. I've run multiple scans on it with malwarebytes and Microsoft security essentials, but I've never found anything, and I've been getting increasingly frustrated with the countless hours of forum browsing trying to get my computer working again that never seems to work. I've got an Alienware m15x running Windows 7 and I'm willing to try anything at this point, regardless of if I've done it before or not.

  10. Hello, I'm not sure exactly if I'm infected or not, but my computer has been running extremely slow lately. Programs have been unexpectedly "unresponding" and there is a massive lag even as I type this. I believe even my music player is corrupted. But I'm not sure if I'm infected or just have too many files and such on this computer... Please guide me as how I may be able to fix this problem. Thank you very much.
  11. Hello I've been having some issues with my laptop lately begging with it slowing down and now I'm unable to use Bluetooth. Here are some scans I've already done. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 17r 5737, Windows 8.1 64bit with AVG 2015 FRST.txt Addition.txt CheckResults.txt
  12. Hi, my computer seemed to slow down, my computer connection, I've narrowed it down to a scvhost process that starts and stops but can't find the why. The computer is a quad core desktop runing windows 8.1 64bit Neither nod32 nor Malwarebytes detects anything is wrong. Please help.
  13. I am having similar problems to many other recent posters. My computer is running very slowly, the fan is running very fast, I receive numerous error messages like "Powershell has stopped working" and others, and my antivirus software is blocking frequent intrusion attempts. I use an HP Pavilion dv4 laptop running Windows 7. These problems all started within the past week. It looks like there is a pretty good success rate in addressing these issues, so any help would be greatly appreciated! (At first I tried responding to one of the previous topics but it is probably better to start my
  14. Hi, my laptop is possibly infected. It runs very slow and sometimes browser changes. I have done a scan back in March and Borislav has helped me greatly. So I did malware scan: With the new malware update, I cant find my logs. It looks weird tho: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16" ?> <mbam-log> <header> <date>2014/11/23 11:28:45 +0100</date> <logfile>mbam-log-2014-11-23 (11-28-35).xml</logfile> <isadmin>yes</isadmin> </header> <engine> <version></version> <malware-database>v2014.11.23.04</m
  15. attach.txtdds.txt Happy Saturday! I know I don't look happy because I am frustrated with this trojan, which I believe laptop is being accessed remotely as well. We thought we did a clean reinstall of Windows 7...but either we didn't get rid of the malware or somehow it came back. I believe spotify is infected and and many suspicious and unknown files. Per ESET......they found more malware 3 different ones... Win32 variants. I actually am learning to remove malware myself and checking into taking classes or some type of certification. So any help you can give me to clean this computer would b
  16. First of all, I'm not too good with computer stuff and English isn't my national language. However, I'll do my best to be co-operating and to understand everything the helpful and respectful staff has to say. Thank you. My computer is considerably new. I've had it for about 1 year now. Not too sure. Anyways, when I leave it alone for a moment, it, of course, turns its screen off to save some energy. But when I open the screen, nothing happens. The only light that's there is the message that says something about a missing video input. I check that my computer is on and it is. I check if my ke
