  1. For the past week or two, I've been getting pop-ups on my Google Chrome Browser. I've attached a screenshot of one of them. The pop-ups try to get me to visit a variety of unsavory websites. But they always have this text: Google Chrome • www.gallery Malwarebytes does not find it. If any of your have suggestions on how I might get rid of this pest, I'd be most grateful. -- Rob
  2. Hi Malwarebytes Team, I need your help to remove Pop-up malware message "You are using outdated version of Chrome...." (Data on internet that is a NetSupport Manager RAT Trojan ?) I tried the following: 1. Malwarebytes 3.6.1.2711 (Updates: Current) 2. Google Help website “Remove unwanted programs (Windows, Mac)” 3. Kaspersky Total Security My Platform -Windows 10 -Chrome - Version 69.0.3497.100 (Official Build) (64-bit) Thank you, River
  3. My mother recently informed me of invasive pop-ups on her computer, and having had previous experience with Conduit malware, my heart sank :( Sure enough, she somehow downloaded malware, showing up as "Microsoft Office 365 - en-us" from "Microsoft Corporation", "version 16.0.10730.20102". I've run Malwarebytes, HItmanpro, and have Revo uninstaller at the ready, but have not found a site that can tell me how to remove it all, and it's been years since I had Conduit, so my memory's a little fuzzy. The Malwarebytes report is attached below- Please HELP!! malware1.txt
  4. Hi! After a stupid mistake my laptop is infected by some freaky pop-ups and other hijacking shite: I've tried to fix it by myself, but still have these issuues... Any idea how to resolve it? Hanx!
  5. Hi. Nearly 1 weeks ago suddenly Malwarebytes(Trial) started to Pop-up me a message about a blocked webpage I never visited. It always happened when I used Firefox and I use uBlock Origin(nothing happened with chorme yet). Always the same page was blocked so I run malwarebytes, adwcleaner, ,win defender, eset, Zemana and neither found anything. Hitmanpro found some non dangerous tracking cookies and I deleted them. Still the pop-up continued. Once it stopped without Finding anything. Before the stop I run Ccleaner and clear everything however I dont know the last pop up was before or af
  6. I have a user running Win7 Pro 64. They are continually being directed in FireFox to a fake "your computer is infected site" I have run a full Avast scan - no items found A MalwareBytes scan - nothing found Windows Defender - nothing found FF has no add-ins or extensions completely deleted their FF profile Done a system restore back as far as possible I cant get a clear answer from the user if it will happen when FF is not running (I think it has to be open, but could be in the background). I myself have clicked on a totally clean link and been redirected to the "y
  7. A website I have used regularly for 10 years has had a makeover, and I can no longer access it. The log-in is a pop-up and my computer freezes. It belongs to a well-known publishing company and a sister website has had a similar makeover; I can access that site but only using Opera. Edge, Safari, Chrome, and Firefox will not let me log-on. i have tried on 3 different devices, one an android, and on a brand new computer that had never ever logged onto the internet before I tried to access that website. All devices run different security suites, and the 2 Windows computers are absolutely up-to-d
  8. Hello, I've been dealing with a pop-up like this: http://i.imgur.com/U4RlhJC.png Bear in mind that Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner have failed to eliminate this problem, or I wouldn't be here. Here are my FRST scans, Thank you very much for your help. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  9. THIS WONT STOP. I NEED TO GET WORK DONE AND THIS JUST KEEPS GOING AND GOING AND GOING. I've tried shutting down, restarting, checking my database (it says it's up to date), adding an exception - nothing works! I need to get work done, I can't be distracted by this ENDLESS POP-UP! It's trying every single port. I suspect it is due to Microsoft Office 365, but I run a lot of Microsoft software, so it could be anything. I just need this pop-up to GO AWAY and NOT COME BACK (oh, and I also need Outlook 365 to work).
  10. Alright, now I've lost my patience with this crap. So I've been dealing with a pop-up not unlike this: http://i.imgur.com/U4RlhJC.png Which I had traced as well as I could to this: Kindly bear in mind that Malwarebytes, AdwCleaner and RegInOut have failed to eliminate this problem, or I wouldn't be here. I have no means of accessing the folder listed and attempting to open the folder the process comes from leads to mshta.exe which may or may not be important. Please also keep in mind that if you do manage to offer a solution I haven't already tried, this is a finicky little
  11. I just installed MalwareBytes 3 (still in trial period), and I ran a full scan because I have been seeing a malicious pop-up "partner-net.men" in Chrome. This pop-up is blocked by realtime protection, but does not get detected or cleaned by running a full scan. In addition to a full scan with MalwareBytes 3 I tried the additional steps below: 1. Used adwcleaner_7.0.0.0 2. Used HitmanPro 3. Reset Chrome to default (disables all extensions) None of this seems to work.
  12. Hello MWB. Please tell me how to turn off your infuriatingly obnoxious pop-up "Real-Time Protection layers turned off" Apparently my "Web Protection" option is not turned on, and does not turn on. It just says "Starting..." Regardless of whether one of your Real-Time Protection options is on or off, to have this trigger a pop-up every 5 minutes is unconscionable. I can only imagine how many hundreds (thousands) or customers have uninstalled your software as a result. You need an option to "Cancel further notifications".
  13. Hello, im struggling with such problem for few weeks: Firefox browser keeps popping up automatically every 30-60 mins since i have accidentally downloaded some toxic file. It usualy opens with some russian betting sites (screenshot) or browser games. I've tried several anti malware scanners and it didn't help. (Microsoft Safety Scanner, IObit Malware Fighter, SUPERAntiSpyware, AVG and few more wich names i can't remember)
  14. Hello there! So recently, about 3 days ago I installed a program. The program came with a suspicious "bundle" that just installed a bunch of crap onto my desktop. I knew this was not right so I deleted all the programs that came with the bundle immediately. So now for three days i've been getting pop-up ads, it is not like the usual one click ,one pop-up though. My problem is kinda similar in one way. The thing is that a new tab with advertisement (most of the time "hotchatdate.com" and "wonderlands.com") opens every 20-25 minutes . It only occurs in google chrome , I haven't tried installing
  15. Every time I boot-up I get the message "Turn on protection", despite the fact that all protection is enabled. I experimented with the delayed protection feature, but it makes no difference. I would like an option to not warm me about certain statuses, rather than nag me. I'm a power user, I know when I turn something off, but I don't want constant nag screens. Otherwise I'm happy with the fact that version 3 incorporates anti-exploit and anti-ransomware, which means I have two programs I don't need to run now. Is there a way to stop this pop-up (see attachment), without changing wind
  16. Hello there ! After visiting a few suspicious sites, while being on the hunt for a Sony Ericsson firmware file I ended up getting a nasty surprise. First thing is that when I search for something in google, i sometimes (can't get the logic of when it actually happens) get a secondary search bar above the google one which is used as default, even if i try to type in the original google bar i get redirected to the secondary one. Even if I decide to use that one it redirects me to a yahoo search. I can get rid of it (temporary) by hitting the X button. But it comes back soon afte
  17. Hello, I am having an issue where a registry value was created and causes my PC to open chrome browser (my default) and opens a pop-up called sd-steam that redirects to some Russian pop-up page. This only happens on a fresh boot and only once. I tracked down the registry edit and attempted to delete it, but it seems to be recreating itself after each reboot. I even tried to edit the entry but it just reverts back to the original value. I ran malwarebytes to locate the problem and it found a pup malware. After attempting to have malwarebytes remove the registry edit, my antivirus (Avi
  18. I am requiring some help regarding a fairly common type of virus. My family's computer displayed an extremely suspicious pop up warning which prevented closing and reopened itself when I tried to close the chrome dialog attached to it. I created a screenshot and then closed the task through the task menu. This happened a little over an hour ago and has not happened again. The pop-up generated following a completely normal search (searching for google.com in yahoo) and to my knowledge has not happened prior. This same computer has been infected with Powliks in the past, but due to there being
  19. Hello everybody, (sorry if this is the wrong forum for the topic) I have problems with an extension called helper2 on firefox and google chrome. I have purchased Malwarebytes anti-malware few months ago and it was working fine until last couple weeks, when this seemingly unkillable extension is hijacking my browsers. At first Malwarebytes seem to catch a backdoor agent and put it in quarantine. After that, about an hour later, firefox crashes and closes. When I reopen it, most of the websites (including Malwarebytes website) have hyperlinks and pop-ups. No matter w
