  1. Well I'm in a pickle! I had a hard drive die on me, so I reinstalled windows. When I redownload Malwarebytes it does not accept my licence key. It says it's not real or something. I have a been using this key for about 10 years because my coverage is forever. Please could someone tell me why this is happening? And how to fix it? Thanks for your help.

  5. Hello everyone. I bought a licence for my Malwarebytes today. I tried activating it, but it wouldn't work. I am constantly presented with an "Error 404101" message and the indication that my Internet is to blame. As you can see, by me writing this right now, my Internet is working fine. I have allowed Malwarebytes through my Firewall and even used the Proxy option. Sadly no difference. My Malwarebytes refuses to connect to the internet. I am the admin of my Computer, so that cannot be the problem, either. It would be nice if someone had an idea what to do, since I am at my wits end. I tried to activate it over the Program I changed the Proxy I changed the language and Proxy I activated the licence over my Malwarebytes account on the website and tried to connect that to the program I tried at least 20 different tips I have seen online about this issue No result. I am from Germany and use the program for personal use. Please, someone, help! I don't want this to become an utter waste of 40€. Sincerest Thanks LBS

Greetings, Greetings, Previously, I used Cracked Microsoft products, and I used the KMS tool to activate and it was later revealed that this tool causes system crashes, and now I have purchased a serial number for Microsoft products and deleted old Cracked copies, but now when activating the official version of office I am having trouble with the serial number where an error message appears That The product is not licensed and I tried with more than one serial number, but then the same problem showed me that this error message is due to the KMS files located inside the installation path of Office products. I have restarted my computer in an attempt to delete KMS files, but to no avail. When I install the official Microsoft Office version, the KMS files reappear inside the installation path and this causes problems with activation. Now I want to get rid of this KMS and have all its extensions rooted. What is the correct way to do that.

  8. Our has business has a large number of Malwarebytes premium accounts. We have some computers that do not have internet access. How do we add the license key to those computers and how do we manually update them with new MB data, when its available? We have searched the forums and all info we have come across seems to require an internet connection. These computers will never be connected to internet. But files can be placed on them. We want to keep protection up to date.
  9. Hi, today I logged up on my computer and I've received the message which said, that I'm not protected anymore to avoid ransomware, software, etc. The license ends up TODAY. I bought the key 3 months ago for a whole year. Someone has stolen my key and replaced it with the other, invalid one. How did it happened? My mail also got changed... Someone other is using the acc now. Of course I did write the mail to Support. I'm still shocked 🙄
  10. I have a Premium License for three devices and would like to add one more, I have read another post that says email/ticket billing. I did that and they said too bad buy another License and they are not combined. Is that true there is no way to add to an existing key?

Hello, I just downloaded MB3 and clicked the button to purchase, created an account on the website and purchased a 1 year, 1 device license but the confirmation screen doesnt show me an activation/license code and I never got an email for the purchase. I got other emails when creating the account but nothing for purchasing. In addition, when I refresh my dashboard, it doesnt say I have any subscriptions. What happened? Did my money get taken?? I see the money withdrawn from my paypal account already from Avangate INC. FYI. I have no idea what to do here...

I think MBAM just got me a false positive result.After a threat scan it found that the registry \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run|Windows Update with data on C:\Users\wcwra\AppData\Local\Microsoft Windows|svchost.exe is a backdoor.bot,I went to the folder and it was empty,just a svchost.exe.config. backdoor.txt

  20. Hello all! I kind of have a special question here. Hope this is the right place to put it. Our servers got attacked by ransomware and all of our files are encrypted by the Indian based Okean-1995 virus. We have backups but they are almost a year old. Production has stopped completely. And we are now pressed up against the corner. I am not proud to admit that we payed the criminals to have our files back. And they may or may not give them back. Now here is the thing: They want to connect to our server with RDP to do the decryption for us. This tells me that they have a decryptor that works for every single infected machine of this particular ransomware. Is there any way we can get a hold of this decryptor undetected by these criminals? Like packet sniffing on the RDP protocol for the executable code and the private key itself? I'd really love to help out the people who also are infected by this one. Problem is: I don't know how I can go about this undetected and risking all our companies files. If you think you can do it: Get in touch with me, and I'll invite you in on the quest to recover the decryptor.
  21. Hello, I'm having issues with using the activation key I have been using for ages now. It is my fault I can no longer use it due to my own forgetfulness. Here's the deal: I had Win7 as my OS with MBAM Premium and my key, later on tried out Win10 out of curiosity and after a while decided to revert back. On both times I forgot to de-activate the key in the MBAM menu. As I reinstalled Win7 on my machine I had some technical issues and had to re-reformat once more. Yet again, I forgot the key. Now I'm stuck with my license key being completely invalid. Is there any solution to this or will I have to purchase a key?
  22. Hello and thanks for a wonderful product. I was reminded via Email that my MalwareBytes Anti-Exploit Premium license was soon to expire. SO, I went to your (Cleverbridge) store and purchased a 4-pack of MBAE licenses. I cannot, however, find a way to apply the new licenses. As you can see from the attached screenshot, it is activated (current key obscured for posting) but there is NO Activate button. I want to do the right thing (well, I guess I did by purchasing the new licenses) and apply them but don't know how. With all the problems people seem to have doing so, I am loathe to uninstall/reinstall a perfectly running product. There is obliviously something simple I am missing here. Please check your license details and try entering your key again.   24. When I attempt to activate my premium version of Malwarebytes, I receive the box with error code, as shown in the Snippet that is attached. Says Error Code 404 The License Key Was Not Found. It continues as indicated in the screen shot. This is what has been done: All steps have been done logged in as the administrator on my Windows 7 Pro Machine - Dell E5500 Laptop The update to the version resulted in my accidentally leaving the default selection of the "Don't know where I got my license" etc instead of selecting "I Purchased My License" which I did pay for. I still have the original lifetime ID and Key Code from my purchase. This indicated that I had 300 some odd days available left on my Lifetime License! I deactivated, then tried "Change License" with my original ID and Key and the error box resulted as in the screen shot. Downloaded and Used the MBAM Clean utility, downloaded the 2.1.8 version again, went through the install steps as indicated on the forum, did not select Trial, Did Reboot when asked, etc. Attempted to activate again, same error. HELP! Also, I turned off ICS on my LAN Connection, Turned User Account Control completely off, switched to Google Public DNS servers at and, flushed DNS, Completely disabled my Avast anti-virus, Even attempted to change the date and time of the PC back to when I originally installed the product (this change resulted in an error that indicated that I was not connected to the internet but in fact I was and confirmed via browser when I tried to activate again with my ID and KEY) All other changes, and then re-attempts at activated resulted in the same attached error box... Please help! Thanks!
  25. So, after researching it appears as if I have the HappySales extension, and possibly other Malware issues. I had already deleted others prior to this, but I was unable to delete the current program. Malwarebytes helped clean up a few issues, but even after a full scan which lasted several hours it could not find anymore issues. I currently have AdwCleaner installed and it claims that various keys are in need of deletion. I am not knowledgeable enough to know which keys should be deleted or saved. I was hoping to get some answers from people who were more familiar with these issues.
