  1. Hi, Since a few weeks, I noticed a strange behavior in Firefox for android : at first when I when I wanted to type in the search box for example "sony", after the letters "s" an "o" were displayed, it opened the site "soamsung.com", and because I enabled URL filter in my antivirus (Dr. Web), I was redirected towards a warning page about "Not recommended websites". The same happened when I typed something beginning by "er": it opened "erbay.com", but this was blocked by URL filter as well. There was other examples like this, I begin to type, then I'm redirected. So I uninstalled Firef
  2. I use Firefox Monitor to determine if my email address has been involved in any known data breaches. Unfortunately, my email address has been involved in a few. I am trying to get my credentials updated for Leet, but when I attempted not navigate to Leet's website, leet.cc, Malwarebytes Browser Guard swooped in with the following: This is the website provided under the developer information for the LEET Servers for Minecraft app on the Google Play store. I am wondering if this website truly is suspicious, or if this is a false positive. If this is truly a suspicious site, I am curious
  3. Every once in a while I'll start up Firefox and literally none of my tabs will load their pages. This doesn't seem to affect Edge for some reason. The reason I figure it's a problem with Malwarebytes Premium is that when it happens, if I turn off web protection (which of course Mwbytes complains about), when I try to start it again I get an error message. The only thing that fixes the issue is to reboot the computer entirely.
  4. I have Amazon Assistant for Chrome and I don't remember Malwarebytes complaining about that, thus I am assuming this is false positive, also because installed it. Firefox shows version 77.0.1 Amazon Assistant in Firefox shows version 10.2005.6.12051 Yesterday I installed Amazon Assistant for Firefox. This shows today: Malwarebytes www.malwarebytes.com -Log Details- Scan Date: 6/29/20 Scan Time: 2:43 AM Log File: e04f2022-b9d3-11ea-9ba9-00248c4445f8.json -Software Information- Version: 4.1.0.56 Components Version: 1.0.955 Update Package Version:

  6. I also have the amozilla in my PC, i read some of the posts here and I found out that the logs needed to be sent here for a specific fix for my computer. Can someone please help?

    False Positive

Appears Browser Guard (in this instance on Firefox) is having a False Positive on website: aaroh.info VirusTotal shows all clean: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/3b61664e837b385c5666601251c6d30bbb7b2b25ab274579db40df16a7d75f0d/detection As said here (https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/253405-extension-blocking-tld/?do=findComment&comment=1343777) : It's totally unacceptable and everyone would agree to this users statement (https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/252629-why-is-my-website-blocked/?do=findComment&comment=1339923): Fix this policy or it wi
  8. I started using Firefox on macOS (I already use it on Windows) as your extension is already present on this browser and because I got to appreciate its privacy settings. Also, having started using DuckDuckGo in place of Google, I wasn't sure that GoogleSafeBrowsing would continue to do its job properly. But I wanted to ask if Malwarebytes Browser Guard also contains features against macOS threats or only as regards Windows threats. I thank as of now who will clarify my ideas. Good afternoon Massimiliano

  10. Okay I run Win7 Pro 32bit on this particular computer and firefox 71 is the default browser (up to date via the about firefox under help in the menu). In the past few days firefox caused windows to say an unknown error occurred but firefox does not crash and I can use it. Aside from the weirdness of it nothing else occurred and this pc is only used occasionally, nothing found on the 19th and 30 of Dec 2019 which shows how little this pc is used generally when I scanned with McAfee and Malwarebytes. This changed on the 1/3/2020 when Malware Premium began blocking connections when I booted this
  11. Good day everyone here in this form! Yesterday I've installed the very last (new) version of Malwarebytes. It works fine as usual but neither Firefox nor Thunderbird (current versions each) does since then. Both programs hanging up on start and cannot be closed - even not with the task manager of Windows 10. A restart of the PC is nessessary... I could solve the problem by preventing Malwarebytes to start in the background with Windows 10. Can anyone confirm this and/or maybe have a solution for this problem please? Thanks a lot in advance- kind regards! Bert
  12. Hello, I would like to report a bug. Currently turning on Exploit Protection in Malwarebytes 3 causes the Widevine CDM plugin to crash on non Chromium browsers such as Firefox or Brave. If you attempt to load a content webpage that uses Widevine such as Netflix, Hulu, or Crunchyroll the webpage will crash and will be unable to play video content while Exploit Protection is enabled. This is a bug that has been occurring for the last few weeks. Please fix it. Thank you.

  14. Some time ago my Firefox browser was infected by anonymous adware extension without name (as shown in the provided pictures), It even doesnt have a remove button, this extension put advertisment in the search results under the prtener name: "ads by adpartener.asia", I used Adwcleaner but it didnt find the root, I ran Malwarebytes and it found it's source as a registery value as shown in the pictures, I delete it by Malwarebytes but it still comes back after sometime, I don't have any suspicious program to think that this is the installer, so how can I remove it ?
  15. For the past few days, the Firefox browser on my PC has been opening up to the Microsoft or Google homepage, despite it being set to Firefox home. Changing the homepage to something else doesn't seem to work, although new tabs aren't affected. This prompted me to look in my NoScript extension, where I briefly noticed something along the lines of "cdn.immereeako". I looked it up and found a very detailed article about some "iTranslator" malware. It mentions the same browser redirect that I've experienced, as well as a folder in my (C:\ProgramData) that was created on the 22nd of this month. Unf
  16. Hi and thanks for helping. My browser works just fine, but every time i open a new tab, Malwarebytes send me a Web page block report. Here you´ve got it. What should i do? feed sonic search.txt
  17. I was using AVG anti virus and mb3-setup-consumer-3.1.2.1733.exe Mouse behaviour If left untouched for a period, my mouse needed a button click in order to function. It seemed to be moving slowly, and would drift upwards, when hovering over a link. Modded the setup to max speed, but it still wasn't right. (In all my decades of computing, I've never experienced this mouse behaviour) I had watched F1 via a stream - many such streams launch an advert new window if the stream page is clicked. This would be a good way of forcing the user to click the page. Opening a n
  18. Hello, I'm author of GroupSpeedDial add-on for Firefox (and Chrome) used by ~50k users. I would like to report issues with your product "Malwarebytes" reported to me by several users. What Malwarebytes does is deleting or corrupting files that contains my add-on database "IdexedDB" (standard database API for add-ons, see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/IndexedDB_API). Then my add-on won't load correctly and users see on the main dials page just error message mentioning corrupted database. The files are located in: C:\Users\PROFILE_NAME\AppData\Roaming\
  19. Firefox wont open after running malwarebytes analisis and sending files to quarantine. At first mozilla and crome browsers would open but could not connect to any pages giving a DNSL error. After reinstalling both browsers through Opera finally I could open Crome. But firefox wont open or even display an error message. You can see that there is a process running on the task manager for firefox but thats it. Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Malwarebytes 3 with no results. My OS is Windows 10 Home (64 bits). May you please assist me with my firefox browser? Thank you.
  20. Today as I'm going to places I go to all the time, I'm constantly getting this malwarebytes pop-up that the site is "compromised" and blocked. It keeps referencing my browser. I'm not techie and this hasn't happened until today. Can anyone explain to me why MB suddenly considers FF to have an issue? I don't even know what it's blocking since I'm still able to surf where I need to be. It just keeps popping up. One of the logs is below, if that helps. 21. My laptop is running Windows 8.1 and I have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Home Premium installed. I clicked a Google search result yesterday in Firefox and got this alert: Malicious Website Blocked Domain: www.hitcpm.com IP: 198.134.112.242 Type: Outbound Process: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe I backed out of Google and believed that between the app and NoScript, I wasn't affected by whatever was on the dodgy site. I ran a full scan just to be sure in MWB and nothing showed up, which is what I expected. But when I switched back to Thunderbird,
  22. Hey guys, I noticed a strange folder in my temp folder called BCLTMP containing subfolders with the names of my browsers. Inside of these folders are files that contain my saved favourites, visited urls and searches. After deletion of the BCLTMP folder it appears again after a while, sometimes after a day, a week or a month. After scanning my PC with all the tools I have (which didn't find much and didn't stop the folder appearing) I decided it might be normal.. Then I bought a new laptop which showed the same behavior within the same week I bought it. Nothing was installed on the laptop,

  25. How do I make sure my computer is safe after downloaded malware? Windows defender found (Trojan:Win32/Fuery.B!cl) when I stupidly downloaded something, quarantined it, and then I deleted it. I checked my Storage and found a new app, then uninstalled it. Then downloaded Malwarebytes to make sure it was gone, details: -Log Details- Scan Date: 7/2/18 Scan Time: 11:17 PM Log File: 06afd75a-7e78-11e8-a07b-4ccc6a9054e5.json Administrator: Yes -Software Information- Version: 3.5.1.2522 Components Version: 1.0.374 Update Package Version: 1.0.5739 License: Trial -Sys
