  1. When reviewing the results of the scan I click "Quarantine". Then I have a choice of Cancel, Always Ignore, or Ignore Once. Are the items quarantined ? I am unable to determine this from the interface even though in the options or settings the slider says "Always Quarantine". How do I delete the Quarantined items? The interface needs some work to eliminate confusion. Not sure I like this new layout. When I close the scan results the message says the items will stay on my computer. Huh ??? Very confusing.

  3. I am running Malwarebytes Premium version 3.7.1. On a Windows 10 Pro desktop machine. Windows update says Windows is up to date.I have a small SSD drive that includes my operating system and my Malwarebytes Premium program folder. There are many ".tmp" in the C:\Program File\Malewarebytes\Anti-Malware folder adding up to more than 15 MB. I am unable to delete any of these files even though none of these files have been accessed since May 2017 according to Windows File Explorer. When I try to delete any of them I get a message that I need administrator permission to delete the files. I am
  4. I'm running Windows 7 on my laptop. It recently started behaving strangely by attempting to delete every file I click on. The "Are you sure you want to move this file to Recycle Bin" pop up appears. When I attempt to close it,multiple pop ups appear with each attempt to close. It's to such an extent that you can't do anything practical on the machine for about 10 minutes as you try to close literally hundreds of Recycle Bin pop dialog boxes. Any help with this is greatly appreciated as I'm stuck right now

Tell me, can I delete ALL of the registers, programs, keys that the ADW cleaner found in the Scan process. Those. Will this harm my PERSONAL data on my computer? 6. Hi, my client just gave me his laptop for basic repair. There is one issue though, when I want to remove the TEST account created there, it will, but after restart it's back. Same thing is, when I delete password for certain user, it will be deleted as long as I don't restart the computer. I tried clean boot + all the things listed here: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/181036-user-account-delete.html + sfc /scannow + all MB products I don't have a clue what's going on and where are these users stored. I don't wanna reinstall that much. I alsto noticed, that when I set, after de
  7. Hey there everybody. I apologize if this has already been answered, but I wanted to get your advice on something as I have more than one question. My computer has been popping up with the black screen displaying "taskeng.exe" very quickly, and then it goes away. It usually only does this a bit after starting up and sometimes after opening Chrome. I looked this up and some people say it's fine, others say it could be a sign of a virus/spyware. I did open up task scheduler, go to the task scheduler library, and disabled a task called "User_Feed_Synchronization" after being advised to do so on a
  8. Hello, How do I delete a forum topic I started? Thanks

  11. Hi! I've been trying to uninstall this program as it doesn't work but I've been having a lot of trouble with it. For example I get a couple of error messages which I will screenshot and include in this post. If anyone could help me with removing this program (and maybe even telling me of any anti-malware program that works for them?) that'd be really great! -Nicole
  12. Hi! Some strange malwares are still coming back after the removal. I scanned with AdwCleaner, Mlawarebytes Anti-Malware (Free and trial for MB 3 Premium) Which are contanty appearing are: adware.ELEX and BIT files (AdwCleaner). While I was checking some files I found ACLMInstaller. I never saw it before so, I don't know if it is a safe archieve or not. Also, I recently received a notification: Site Blocked. It was the next: dubailyfestyleap (Which I don't know and I don't mind to enter there as well...) The thing is, I don't know how, I cannot delete this virus/malware/adwa
  13. Hi, where does the quarantined files go? If it's kept in the system, where can I access the file folder to delete it? If I were to reinstall MalwareBytes, will it delete the files automatically, because I don't want any infected files lingering in my PC.
  14. Background information: I hold a lifetime Malwarebytes Anti-Malware license. I am trying to upgrade to Malwarebytes 3.0.5 from Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. I also have Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit installed in my machine which got uninstalled automatically while upgrading. Problem statement: Since Malwarebytes 3.0 was unable to upgrade & register properly the first time, i tried reinstalling it several times and register it but it did not work. So, i thought to do a clean install but that did not work either as the files "mbae64.sys" and "mbamchameleon.sys" were not getting deleted. N

  16. The problem is I scan for malware with Malwarebytes, then I hit the remove selected items button and everything is checked, and it will have to restart my computer. Then when I log back in and run Malwarebytes again the adware/malware is still there. Please help, thanks. Note: This is for Malwarebytes on Mac
  17. With the most recent update I also had Malwarebytes add a Desktop shortcut (I don't remember if that option was selected by default or I selected it). Today I tried deleting the shortcut but I get this error (oddly, the location it references is to Malwarebytes itself, not the Desktop shortcut; also it should be noted that I am on an Administrator account): Things I've tried (without success): - Putting in Recycle Bin. - Shift+Del permanent deletion. - Running cmd as an Administrator and attempting to delete through there. 1) The shortcut isn't even listed when you use 'dir'; 2) I tried
