  1. I am running Malwarebytes Premium 3.1.2 on Windows XP. I have an alert that Updates are not current. Clicking the "Check for Updates" button does nothing. On the "Protection" tab for Settings, the "Automatically check for updates" toggle will not toggle to "on." On the "Application" tab for Setings, the "Automatically download and install application component updates" toggle keeps toggling back to "off." I've run a scan (no threats identified) and rebooted. Problem persisted. I ran a scan including rootkit (no threats identified) and rebbooted. Problem persists. Sometimes (not always) when I power up, I receive a message about protection layers being turned off and I need to click the button to turn them on. This is happening both on the XP and on a Windows 7. I am attaching the requisite files for the XP. I would be grateful for help. I have very little computer literacy, so explicit, detailed instructions would be much appreciated. Thank you! FRST.txt Addition.txt mb-check-results.zip
  2. Hello, Can anyone tell me how I enable auto update of the database in Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium? At the moment I have to update manually. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks Simnix
