  2. Windows Vista SP2 Home premium 32 bit laptop overwhelmed with pop ups of fff5ee.com outbound traffic, dllhost.exe com surrogate memory usage, and powerliks not visible to Malware Bytes premium. Alright, so I just joined and I was having some trouble because I couldn't figure out how to post on the forums, (haha,) but... i read a few of the help guides for removal of poweliks/fff5ee.com, (opens several COM surrogates and jams up the cpu,) and i didn't want to use the fixlogs posted because I wasn't sure if they were system specific or not. I ran combofix already and that didn't seem to help, even though it identified some files. I ran Malwarebytes yesterday and it also i.d. several questionable files as well but now MB wont open to allow me to run another scan even though manager says

  5. i have norton 360 and have run scans. i ran malawarebytes scan and anti rootkit scan. but i still have symptoms. slow computer and norton warnings about com surrogate, adclicker. please help, my computer rendered non functionally slow!
  6. I have been using Norton Security for Comcast and current version of Malwarebytes. Norton tells me it has blocked an attack by: System infected: Trojan.Powelik Activity. Same thing for Trojan.AdClicker Activity. I'm also notified that PowerShell has stopped working and High Memory usage by Com Surrogate. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit operating system. My system is working at a snails pace, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steven

For the past 3-4 days, we are experiencing "Intrusion attempt blocked - System Infected: TrojanAdclicker Activity" messages by Norton, We also have high CPU and memory usage by several dhlhost *32 processes. Was able to successfully download Malwarebytes trial version and do a full scan. It did not show any infection. Instead, we are continually seeing malicious website blocked - fffsee.com and similar such messages. Norton security history shows unauthorized access blocked and the actor is Malwarebytes.exe. In addiiton, task manager shows several several dhlhost *32 processes executing. I
