Read some of the forum posts and it seems like this is a widespread issue with MWB or something interacting with it. Making a unique post because I noticed the issue on both my desktop and laptop at about the same time (thank you Rainmeter). Noticed that MWB was turning off live web protection on it's own and got concerned when I found it was doing it on both my laptop and PC. When I was troubleshooting on my own (why isn't it working, oh hey MWB is eating all of my RAM and CPU, restart PC, turn off MWB & turn back on MWB, reinstall MWB, power cycle PC, etc.) my desktop threw an error window with the text "Unable to contact license server". Attached the mb-check-results from my laptop, and will do the same for desktop if necessary. mb-check-results.zip

mb-check-results.zip Hello: I have a subscription and am running Malwarebytes v 3.3.1 and it apparently has a memory leak issue. While running, it will continue to use memory until it reaches the maximum available memory and then causes my computer to crash. I have run the tests advised by Malwarebytes support in another user post and attached the results. Please assist in resolving this issue as the program is useless to me currently. Regards, Matt

I was recently on the forums trying to find a fix for the "Real time Protection not staying on" after I tried a few of the suggested items here, now Malwarebytes will not even launch. I also tried to gather logs but the MBLog creation link in the thread said it could not be reached. I tried going there manually but was not able to access that either. All I could get were the logs from FRST. attached. Logs.zip

Web protection immediately shuts off as soon as I enable it. I've tried restarting, adjusting other sliders, and examining my windows defender settings. Please let me know what I need to do to resolve this.

I am fairly certain that this is a false positive. Malwarebytes Free detected five (so far) executable files (.EXE) from Microsoft Office for Windows 95 as Malware. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium. I can see how it would detect the binder; -It launches on startup -it has some compatibility issues -it locks to the side of the screen -you have to open a menu to close it ...but... why? I think the MBAM team might need to work on "MachineLearning/Anomalous.100%" detections. (I AM TECH SAVVY BUT TIRED)

Hi everyone! This is only my second post ever on this forum, and I am not very experienced when it comes to antiviruses and antimalware. My question is, is Malwarebytes Free (for me, it is version 3.3.1) good enough to protect my computer on its own? Should I upgrade to premium or download another antivirus?
