I attempted to send them to “Quarantine” which was largely successful except for one pesky infection named “Preinstalled Dell Support Assist Agent” which was not sent to “Quarantine.” In an effort to remove get rid of this infection I ran “HitManPro” which appeared to remove the infection but sadly this morning the infection has reappeared. [See Attached Screen Shots.] I also ran Malwarebytes Premium 3.8.3 which did not detect any issue. Can anyone assist

  9. After building my own gaming rig in January, everything has been running smoothly, however I've been running torrents and as a result I tried to check my vulnerability. I noticed when I open task manager, CPU usage starts at 100% and lowers to ~10% on idle. I already ran and found some malware through Malwarebytes and Roguekiller, as well as Windows Defender If anyone's willing to shed some light that'd be wonderful. I don't recognize any impact in games at all, so I could be wrong. ___________________________ Specs: Intel i5-9600k (Base clock) EVGA RTX 2060 XC ULTRA
  10. Hello, yesterday at about 18:00 Mcaffe security (Preinstalled antivirus with Lenovo) rang me a notification and told me there was a treath. Confused i clicked on that and it showed me something called "UpgradeSys". Since i assumed this is a system file i thought it could have been a false positive, so i tried checking it with MalWareBytes, which also tells me it is a virus (Trojan). Giving up on thinking and wanting it gone, i try to remove it, yet Malwarebytes tells me to disable it so that it can be whitelisted and it is a system app, while Mcaffe cannot remove it even when it prompts me to

Now, every since yesterday morning, that 15 minutes has gone down to like 2 minutes. I barely have any time to scroll the internet because the Chrome message from before pops up and/or the page freezes and becomes unresponsive. I ima

  17. Hello, So a couple of weeks ago I downloaded an unsafe torrent and got a virus. While I initially thought I got it fixed, yesterday I ran MWB and was informed my computer was infected with Trojan.Yelloader. I quarantined it and then restarted the PC as prompted. But after running a second scan, it seems like MWB was unable to delete. How can I get this off of my PC? Thank you, Unidirectional

  21. Hi, we have a dev web server at work that is infected by a virus. The file name I see is sqler.exe, and it locates itself in the Microsoft SQL Server\110\Shared folder. Even if I delete the folder, it will just comes back 5-10 minutes later. At first I believed it was actually related to SQL, but I noticed that deleting it has 0 impact on our SQL services whatsoever. The virus seems to be some sort of Cryptocurrency miner as it's consuming a very high % of CPU (75+%) whenever it is running. If I kill it in Task Management, it will start again 5-10 minutes later. We have run Malwar
  22. I have a virus that slows down the work of my CPU and GPU, uses my PC for bit mining, pops up ads on my browser, stops malwarebytes from launching and other things. I scanned and cleared my PC in safe mode using Malwarebytes, ADWcleaner and Sophos Scanner Virus Removal Tool and reset my Google Chrome sync. This worked for 3 days when the virus came back. Here's my FRST scan log. I'm sorry I'm not sure how to post pictures but here are some pictures of scan results in Microsoft Word (I'm sorry for being stupid but not sure how to properly upload them). 24. Hello, a few weeks ago my brother had downloaded a "csgo hack" onto my PC. I allowed him to play. I had this application open and ready to use. Windows kept sending me a warning and of it automatically quarantining the Trojans. But it wasnt helping. There were 2 applications called "letsee1.0" and the same name but in a 2.0 variant. I deleted the 1.0 I believe, but upon deleting the other, my PC crashed. I loaded back up normally, but tool a bit longer than usual. Signed in and it gave me a black screen then blue screen sayin "checking updates". After that I knew I was screwed. I know the viru
