  1. Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64 I do not need help, this is simply a report of a bug I encountered while trying to install re-install MBAM 3.6.1.2711 I booted up my system today and was told by MBAM that my real-time protection was no longer working. while running through various normal troubleshooting steps, I discovered In the system event logs, that there was an error saying that MBAM could not start real-time protection because it could not find a specified file. my system is clean and has no corruption, so knowing sometimes this happens, I decided to download the latest version from
  2. Malwarebytes 3.1 asked for an update to 3.2. I agreed. If I remember correctly the installation was "too fast". It asked for a reboot. After the reboot Malwarebytes was not running and the installation automatically started over again. The progress bar did not move and after few seconds the request for a reboot popped up. That happens with every reboot since then. I used MB clean, no change. The log files show that Malwarebytes is not installed. After I used MB clean I ran the Malwarebytes 3.2 (full) installer, which does the same: few seconds of non-moving progress bar, reboot
  3. I downloaded the free trial setup (for home) When I run the setup I get to choose what langage I want to use. After I press the "OK" button I get this message "Runtime Error (at 49:120): Could not call proc." Then I press "OK", and the program closes.
  4. We frequently have to deploy chameleon on many machines at a time, but it installs MBAM 2 not 3. This is a PITA because customers now expect the latest version and upgrading everything manually is not an option. Chameleon doesn't like a renamed MBAM3 setup and goes on to download and install MBAM2. Is there a command line option or something to make it install MBAM3? Pleeease, think about guys deploying on many machines!
  5. Hi guys, I'm having issues with installing the newest version of MB -> mb3-setup-consumer-3.0.4.1269 I'm currently running MB AM 2.2.1.1043 Premium and I was trying to upgrade to 3.0. I tried uninstalling current version, then ran mbam_clean.exe (I found link on this forum). I also did a trick with exclusion.dat, but it also didn't help. Installation process fails everytime, after selecting langugage with following error:

  9. Hey there, Been using MBAM for about 5 years now My friend's PC had a virus attack (PicexaViewer) and after help from nasdaq from Bleeping Computer (would be better if you first read this topic since FRST log is there) her PC is clean now (I think) but I can't run/install MBAM. Right upon installation I get this error: Now I know MBAM installer is not to blame but I still want to find a solution to this since I'm out of more ideas. Using Windows XP SP3, Avast antivirus free installed. Things I've tried: 1. Try installing in Safe mode. Same issue. 2. Runnig mbam-clean-2.1.1.1001 (altho
  10. Hi, I've had Malwarebytes Anti-Malware on my computer for years. Since last week, I tried to open the program and it won't open. So I reinstalled the program but during the setup I kept getting Runtime Errors. I think I have a malware then, so how do I fix this and get Malwarebytes to work again. Attached are the error messages. Internal error: Expression error 'Runtime Error (at 79:177): External exception E06D7363' Internal error: Expression error 'Runtime Error (at 69:252): External exception E06D7363' Internal error: Expression error 'Runtime Error (at 45:89): External exception E06D73
  11. Hi, I MBAM recently to get rid of some malware that was causing hundreds of pop ups on my laptop. I noticed it was out of date but when I tried to update it said it "could not connect to the update server". I then tried downloading the new version. After downloading, the setup file wouldn't open stating "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the programme". This happens with all MB products and downloads. My laptop is slowly becoming unusable with all the pop ups and adverts. MBAM didn't solve all the issues when I run it. And now it won't update. Cheers, Matt
