  1. Hi, I have been getting memory related BSOD at early morning around 6am - 8am. The diagnostic files are attached below.   2. hi guys i cant seen to remove this adware from my computer.I deleted both using malwarebyte and Manually but still it pop out each time is scan under memory section can anyone fix it ? i tried restarting still the same.Although i dont have and ad pop out of no where but still hate to see that thing any help will be great thx update: weirdly if i deleted the preference file by my self while chrome running the threat stop appearing however if i relaunch chrome again the problem persist
  3. On startup my PC is at 81% ram usage and I have 16gb of ram. Currently my cached ram is 3.2gb and non-paged pool is 1.1gb. I'm on Windows 10 64-bit. I have already tried the regedit fix and that only lasted a day or two.
  4. hello i am working on windows 10 my CPU and memory are constantly working on 99% to 100% and they are highlighted in red when i open task manager nothing shows to have this huge impact ive tried virus scans , malware scans, and nothing seems to be working , i think it is some malicious malware please help mee i downloaded Malwarebytes anti malware and scanned my computer and it only found one threat which it eliminated but it didn t resolve my problem of very high cpu and memory now i am running another virus scan maybe it ll detect something PLEASE
  5. Hi to all, I am currently a premium home user; I have noticed that a possible memory leak issue was addressed during the weekend. It seems that my software has been updated, however I am also noticing that Malwarebytes is also increasing in memory usage when I check Malwarebytes service through task manager. The service starts at 189.0 mb and starts to increase gradually after several minutes. Is this behaviour normal? or is this still part of the same issue? After the screenshot and starting this thread it has increased to 194.3 mb. Thanks for any help.
  6. Since i scanned my laptop with malwarebytes i haven't been able to do anything on my laptop... It boots into a black screen with a cursor. sometimes i can get to the task manager via ctrl+alt+del, and i see that malwarebytes is using over 2GB of ram?? i can't close it, because it will start itself back up again. malwarebytes also uses 50% of my processor
  7. Yesterday when I turned on my computer I noticed that it ran very slowly. And as I went to update my MB files, I saw that I was unprotected. I clicked on protect and all it did was sit there and tell me that it was starting. Forever. The PC then gradually slows down and crashes when it runs out of memory. Also, when I attempted to load a web page, that too would crash. I just renewed my MB subscription and hope that this can be fixed sooner rather than later. I have the same problem on my notebook.   9. The "fix" for the memory issue has not resolved the issue with customers using Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection (Cloud SAAS Service). I have done the process; stopped services, rebooted, etc. with no effect. I have tried to push protection updates through a task through the control panel, also with no effect. The Malwarebytes service still starts and spiked CPU and continues to Gobble memory until the system becomes unstable. I have been unable to reach anyone in business support and do not see any posts in reference to this product or how to remediate the issue for business
  10. I am having an issue where the MalwareBytes service is using ALL of my (32GB) memory and 25% of CPU (per Process Explorer). I have an IT business and several of my customers are having the same issue. It started this morning (1-27-18). The MB service begins eating "working set" RAM until there is nothing left. Restarting Windows does not fix the problem; only stopping and disabling the service fixes it. I finally just uninstalled MB and will reinstall to see if that helps.   11. As of this morning Malwarebytes is making my computer unusable. The memory and disk usage is maxing out. Please fix this. mb-check-results.zip
  12. Two computers this morning was grinding to halt and froze with 100% disk usage. After 3rd reboot, I was able to see the service was using a lot of memory. Apparently there is something going on between the service and the gateway to the server that was causing the service to go into some kind of loop bringing the system to a halt. I was able to quickly get into the services.msc, stop the service from running and disable it so it wouldn't start up again.   13. attached are screenshots of process explorer. mbam800megs shows mbamservice sucking up about 800mbytes just a few seconds after manual start. about 30 seconds later, mbamservice is now sucking up about 3 GIGABYTES of ram another 30 seconds later mbamservice is now sucking up about 5 GIGABYTES of ram. This is highly unusual. I've never experienced issues like this with malwarebytes. This just started happening this morning, about 2 hours ago.   14. Something happened with MBAM today... I've got 32 GB of RAM and suddenly a massive amount of it is being used. Web-Protection never starts.
  15. • Web protection won't start • Malwarebytes eating up to 20gb of my RAM As a result a nice BSOD. Blue Screen Of Death My PC got hot, my fans were working overtime. I checked and it was Malwarebytes doing crazy stuff with a number on my memory and processor. I hope you fix this soon because I am unprotected since I shut MB down!   16. As I was playing POE I had a crash when on a loading screen. This was odd as it was the first crash in 100+ hours of playing. GOG crash reporter was able to generate and send a report but the PC was vet sluggish, also windows task manager showed 31+ of 32 GB of physical memory was being used by the MBAMService.exe. Back on the desktop a message from MWB pops up "You're not fully protected Turn on Real-Time protection layers to block threats". Web protection is off and cannot be turned on.   19. My malwarebytes satrted to hog ALL of my memory, over 10GB and rising, soon hunderds of GB's and i have 8 for RAM. It doesn't want to scan, it doesn't want to enable real time protection anymore AND it auto starts itself every time i shut it down. It's literally become malware itself, what the censored is this?   20. Ok. I am an unhappy cookie this morning. Woke up to find that for some reason, the Malwarebytes service's memory usage keeps constantly increasing at an alarming rate (makes the PC unusable within 10 minutes of use, no joke) without there being any activity on my computer except me typing this in Notepad, because of the problem Malwarebytes is causing.   21. This morning I was poking around on my laptop- only Chrome in the foreground, with MB premium running in the background, plus steam, and a few normal windows processes and junk. (I just reformatted last week.) Suddenly my computer started running very slow.   22. Since I formatted my PC and reinstalled malwarebytes, I noticed the MBAMService.exe is using around 240.00K memory. I found some really old posts (2016 and 2012) about this issue, but nothing really solving it. How do I solve this issue and lower the memory usage? Thank you

I have a Win 10 setup with the in-built Defender, and the free version of Avast AV - but I still manage to find the occasional PUP when I run Adwcleaner (preferably in Safe Mode) Question:- is it possible to set Adwcleaner to scan a USB memory stick for PUPs - or does it do that by default?   24. Good day Today I upgraded my Malwarebytes from version 3.1.2 to 3.2.2 and I have been having a problem with scanning since I upgraded. The problem I'm having is that when I start a scan, it gets to the point of scanning my memory and then just hangs indefinitely. When this problem occurs, my computer slows down to a crawl and I can't open any new applications until I cancel the scan (almost like my memory is in a locked state). Hello I am running Malwarebytes 3 v3.6.0 and when i run it on Windows 10 it uses a huge amount of memory like 1 gigabyte, I tried to find the option that appears in the usage guide to prevent this behaviour from happening because this is a machine of low resources but I didn't find any option on how scans affects my system. Even on safe mode, it stalls and when I try to open back Malwarebytes it says pagination file too little but it doesn't even run it and stalls. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
