  1. Hi - I found some malware files on my computer last night and although I removed them they kept coming back every time I was on line. I have attached a screenshot of the reports of the scans from Malwarebytes. How do I get rid of it permanently? Hope you can help, Will
  2. I think that I have a malware that makes the internet of my pc go way slower than usual, i've tried everything, anti-viruses, anti-malware but it keeps with the same mbps (locked at 200 mbps when in my phone it is 654) if someone knows how to solve this please tell me
  3. Hello, Recently my PC started acting weird and I was wondering what's the problem. I found out that when I turn on Task Manager processor usage drops instantly from 100% to normal rate. I had this problem many years ago on a different PC (it turned out to be a bitcoin miner) and Malwarebytes scan worked like a charm, but now it doesn't help. What should I do to make my PC working like it should? Sorry for my poor English, i'm not native. :) Thanks for any help, I appreciate it. :)
  4. So i was seraching some pages wink wink and the next day my laptop started to heat up a lot (no it isnt something like dirt in the fans or my device is old i think) my pc is a gaming one asus and i got it recently not more than 2 years , so i checked the task manager and found a really suspicious one Online Aplication Updater so i inmediatly end it and the heat went off to a normal point but it relaunch itself every twice a day and my antivirus (Bitdefen) and it blocke a connection made by this app to a web calle diedvirgin or something so i manually disinstalled it i scanned my device and it came out clean but the heat was still there it didnt heat up that much but once apps like google make my device heat as i was playing a heavy game of some kind so i checked task manager didnt found any suspicious program so search for help to malwarebytes and it came with 50 malware like trojan and adwares and 70 pup so i put all off them 9 on quarantine and restarted my device but the device restarted slow and when i tried opening malware bytes or 10 anything the text wouldnt appear so with some visual help (images) i put all of them out of quarantine and put again programs that malwarebytes detected as adwares or trojans but left all the pup except the ones that had the online aplication updater or jet media but since i got this infection my device will be hot because just doing things i used to do like see videos make my pc go quite hot and i dont know if zoom that program for clases should heat up that much my pc for open google while zoom is running but it does and only leaving it there for some minutes will make it cool down but in a few moments it will heat up a bit again so i think is probable that one of the 60 pup that are left is causing this and i hope its like this and is not a problem hardware but the thing is one of this is a vital part of windows or something because if put all of them it happends the same as lines 9 and 10 so could someone pls help me i want my old good laptop and play my games without out being able to fry eggs on my device . pd i can upload the report of malware bytes i think
  5. Hi, I cannot seem to remove PUP.Winlogon.Heuristic from my system, it can only be detected my AdwCleaner, none of the other antiviruses that I have tested could scan it as a threat. I am facing network issues due to it, web pages take minutes to load and are extremely slow, however, other devices on the same network operate smoothly. I have tried to remove PUP.Winlogon.Heuristic but after every restart it comes back. Please help! Thanks in advance.
  6. I keep removing some malware with malwarebytes but then after like half and hour too an hour it comes back, and when it comes back my search engine becomes Yahoo. I can't find the source of how this is all being downloaded, I need to know how to permanently delete them. Keep Coming Back.txt
  7. Dear Malwarebytes Support-Team, I've already delved into solutions and topics on the "PUP.Optional.SearchManager.BITSRST" - Threat. Steps I've taken so far: *) Removed Chrome and all data along with it *) Deleted all Google-related local appdata (Folders+Files) *) Ran Malwarebytes (Free Version) several Types, always able to quarantize the same files After reinstalling Chrome, the issues returned magically (fresh installer downloader just 30 mins ago), so I've read that scanning with FBRS and submitting both logs (MWB + FBRS Logs) will help to get a needed fixlist. In my case, the FBRS-Scan is still running (it seems like it's stuck, I'll give it some more time), so I'll make sure to submit both logs just after these taken measures are completed. Thank you for your help and attention in advance! Regards, Jake
  8. Good Day, I need help removing a cloudnet virus that keeps coming back which I have been attempting to remove for months but it keeps returning. I have been using MalwareBytes which detects the 8 infected files every time it scans after a reboot and have tried using other software such as HitmanPro but the virus keeps coming back. I recently saw a thread where somebody used something called FRST fixlist to fix such malware and wanted to know how it could be done and if I can do it as a beginner? Scan Results.txt
  9. Had a popup telling my F: drive had errors and press to fix, went to dos box, had to reset my windows store before as couldn't access to it Malwarebytes.txt Addition.txt FRST.txt
  10. Hello, Everyone, I'm new here. Hopefully, I won't violate any rules. I used to rely on MalwareBytes to remove the search.anysearchmanager.com redirect. I am infected, again. by this annoying malware, in Firefox. MalwareBytes isn't working to remove the redirect. MalwareBytes Browser Guard DOES block the redirect, but MalwareBytes won't scour it. Any suggestions? sadaunhe1
  11. Hi, the title says it all, i have ran several full system scans with rootkit detection installed and have found nothing atall. i have also just 100% wiped my whole PC and the problem still occurs. i cant figure out what program it is because as soon as i start up task manager it goes away almost instantly.
  12. Hi, There are some suspicious things with weird names in my task manager like BIT, SNARE, KITTY, but the main problem is there is always this "g2499.tmp.exe" which consumes a lot of disk power.
  13. I had an old file saved from a game I wanted to create. It happens that I just installed Malwarebytes, analyzed my pendrive and detected that the .exe of the game is a threat. A virus/malware could be camouflaged there, or it's just a false positive. Since I have seen several that the same problem has happened to them. /Translator DeepL Virus Total: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/8b1c3bb3ed6f15e813a2a86eeea2823fcd56f9757e9dea31ddd9fc52e52cc171/detection
  14. Hello, first time posting so please excuse any formatting mistakes. So somehow I got segurazo today, managed to remove most of it thanks to jumping into paranoia mode as soon as i saw something. Managed to remove facemoods and conduit as well which had been bothering me for a long time. All these thanks to adwcleaner 8 and Malwarebytes. Now there is this persistent chrome extension showing up in adwcleaner classified as a PUP.Optional.Legacy but i can't find it anywhere and when i quarantine it, it shows up again every time i launch chrome. Attached is my latest AdwCleaner scan log. It seems to be a chromium derivative but i can't seem to find any traces of chromium left-overs from today's blunder. Thanks in advance for any help. My job is on the line. AdwCleaner[S08].txt
  15. Malwarebytes decided to flag my PDF writer as generic malware. How doi I get it to not flag it and not quarantine it? How should I continue to use the Cute PDF writer???

  21. Hello, I just started a system analysis with Bitdefender and the report mentions among other information: 153335 ignored files, 4209 password protected files. I went through the log (which is an .xml file so I cannot insert it in my message) and I saw different weird file paths, here are some example: - D:\Musique\iTunes\iTunes Media\Mobile Applications\Jetpack 1.8.8.ipa=>Payload=>jetpack.app=>assets.zip=>textures/Entities/MysteryCrystal.xml - C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA\rtkhdasetting\103C850B\APO.zip=>APO=>84810527=>84810527.txt - C:\Windows\System32\drivers\rtkhdasetting.zip=>rtkhdasetting=>103C83C7=>APO.zip=>APO=>83110208=>83110208.txt - C:\Users\Public\Documents\Wondershare\mobiletrans_full5826.exe=>(Instyler o)=>(Instyler Module 477)=>iTunes_Control/iTunes/iTunes Library.itlp/DBTemp/.status-com.apple.itdprep.command.runPostProcessing - C:\Program Files (x86)\Wondershare\MobileTransPro\Library\iTunes_Control_ios9.zip=>iTunes_Control/iTunes/iTunesCDB - C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA\rtkhdasetting\103C8490\APO.zip=>APO=>84850109=>84850109.txt I think this is weird that there are so much files about iTunes and Halfbrick apps, mixed with Wondershare (by the way I am currently struggling to uninstall all my Wondershare softwares, for example the uninstaller file for the Wondershare software called "Video Converter Ultimate" does not work and says something like "unins000.msg is missing"). But the most suspect thing in my opinion is the "rtkhdasetting" thing. Through a Google search I found a few topics mentionning this may be about malware... But I did not find help in these topics so I post a new one here. I really hope you can help me, I must admit I am a bit afraid Thank you in advance!
  22. Hi! Last week my Bitdefender started to detect a CoinMiner thread. It blocks it and then deletes it every time, but it keeps happening every day when I turn on my computer. I have seen that there are other people in this forum with the same problem but I am not sure how to proceed. I am scared of deleting something that I shouldn't and ruin my PC. Any kind of help would be very much appreciated.
  23. Hello, recently I downloaded a game by torrent with its updates, I passed the Nod program to verify that they had no virus, leaving the analysis clean, but with Malwarebytes I detected malware in the installer of an update, look for the same multi-sided installer and everyone gives the same analysis with the program, reviewing videos on and I could see that the installer works likewise in forums, but I would still like to doubt whether it is a virus or a false positive; I attach the history of detection of the program, the archive and the analysis in virustotal. Thanks in advance for the answer. Virustotal : https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/5bc6fdab315d943e2d91be577b3af1093bc298516932e4a534eafb53cef781c7/detection Setup.rar 123.txt
  24. Hi. A few minutes ago I got a notification that malwarebytes had blocked svchost.exe trying to access a foreign website. My guess is that's not supposed to happen. This is the first time I have gotten that notification. I have tried a threat scan but it is not detecting svchost.exe as malware of a trojan or anything the like. I have included the .txt of the report. Thanks in advance malwareb.txt
  25. Hi Everyone, I am a new Malwarebytes member and this has to do to a message I keep getting from my other Anti-Virus program that runs my Fire-Wall, this is the message I keep getting and I got this message way before I ever installed Malwarebytes to my PC "WE BLOCKED AN INTRUSION ATTEMPT FROM A COMPUTER ON A DIFFERENT NETWORK 34.196.43.135 INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM (IDS) THE CATEGORY OF INTRUSION IS ATTEMPTED-dos, the intrusion level is Medium and it follows rule ID 177. The description is: DOS mstream client to handler." Now I have scanned my complete computer with Malwarebytes scanner and it found nothing, but I have a feeling that someone has installed a Trojan in my pc from an accidental webpage view, I contacted my anti-virus company and they said they believed it was just a web ad trying to get through and that's why it gave me this message. but to be honest I think they are wrong. Anyone's help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks IN Advance Phantom4
