  1. Hi, I keep getting this pop up, have run scans on both malware bytes and FRST and have the addition text. FRST.txtAddition.txt
  2. I am running Malwarebytes premium on Win 10 Malwarebytes version: 3.0.5.1299 Component package version: 1.0.43 Update package version: 1.0.1021 Whenever I try to run a browser and malwarebytes at the same time I get a BSOD. I had heard about issues with addons so I deleted chromes add ons but still BSOD. I then downloaded firefox and still got a BSOD. When I am not running MB my computer does not crash. When I am running MB and no browser then my computer does not crash. MB worked great on my last HDD running win10 but this is a new HDD with everything newly installed. Anyone have any ideas on a fix for this?
  3. I've gotten blue screens "BAD_POOL_HEADER" and sometimes even "BAD_POOL_CALLER" (I don't know the difference). I always brushed them aside as they only happened once every month, randomly. I looked up how to solve this and have not found any recent solutions, just people saying they will inform the devs. PC Specs: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9w83Vn I have fully updated drivers, and I just updated the BIOS too. In the attached image, you can see the WhoCrashed log. In the screenshot, two of the 3 crashes displayed have bad pool header errors. The other one has a bad pool caller error. All of them say the error is from Malware bytes web access control is at fault. I love Malware bytes. I don't want to stop using it, but these blue screens are unbearable. I manually updated Malware bytes at first because I thought that was the problem, however blue screens happen more frequently now. It is worth mentioning that it seems I have blue screens when using my main login account (standard user), rather than me admin accound (admin-user). I do this for security reasons, such as programs not downloading files without my permission (admin password). Thank you so much in advance, -Jerry
  4. I am having a similar problem. Based on the lack of response to yours I am not hopeful for a resolution.
  5. Alright so yesterday AVG and Malware Bytes detected Adware and 2 Trojans on my computer and they got rid of them fairly easily but when I click on the Malware Bytes icon on the toolbar after I look at a scan, it minimizes into the hidden icons? Is this a sign of something bigger or is it just a thing Malware Bytes does? I'm just a little bit concerned that's all. I can simply open it up again and the scan is still running.
  6. I got redirected to a suspected dodgey version of a bitcoin site (real site is .com this one identified itself as .cloudnet) Since then (few hours later) no apps would connect to the internet. Chrome would say could not connect to proxy, I don't use a proxy. Tor would connect though but that's because it uses its own proxy, not the system one. USB memory sticks have been acting weird too. I've been getting the 'this USB has a problem click to fix' error and an I/O error due to an invalid system string or application request. The laptop is pretty high spec and used to boot up in a flash and be very responsive. Now for the last day or so it's booting up slower, apps are slower and general response is sluggish. I've ran malware bytes on it in safe mode and nothing has come up. Would should I do next as I can get most of my data off. It's an HP laptop running Windows 8 Standard Edition x64. Cheers
  7. Ok, so after tyring to install MalwareBytes and the program not installing, I found the necessary instructions and am now posting the results for review..been seeing a high CPU useage and thought it might be 'virus related' and wanted to get a 2nd opinion, seeing as I don't always trust Avast and so I wanted to use MalwareBytes. Thanks for any help! Martin attach.txt dds.txt
