  1. Hello, This is a licensing question. I am looking to purchase a few Premium copies for other people. Some of them won't be used immediately. There are two questions: Will the license term start on the first installation, or when the products are purchased from NewEgg? Can a downloaded copy be used with the purchased keys, or am I required to log in to my N/E account for each installation? Thanks in Advance, Ryan
  2. Following the instructions: Set the following exclusions in ESET Smart Security before you enable the Trial for the PRO version: C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes [Folder] OR x64 OS (C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes) C:\Windows\system32\drivers\mbam.sys C:\Windows\system32\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys OR on x64 OS (C:\Windows\syswow6432\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys) For MBAM, add the ESET folder to the Ignore List. Yes, you can enable the trial for the PRO version, which will last 2 weeks. After that MBAM will revert to the free version automatically. With this exclusion my computer crash!!! --- Next i tried with fhe following exclusion: ESS V. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (Pro) V. ESET C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbam.exe C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbampt.exe C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbamscheduler.exe C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe C:\Windows\system32\drivers\mbam.sys Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (Pro) V. C:\Program Files\ESET OR C:\Archivos de Programa\ESET C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ESET ESS V. C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbampt.exe ? C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbamscheduler.exe ? C:\Windows\system32\drivers\mbam.sys ? Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (Premium) V. 2.X C:\Program Files\ESET OR C:\Archivos de Programa\ESET C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ESET ? My computer freeze Firewall: mbamscheduler.exe rule is not created * I am not sure if are OK the exclusion marked at the end with a question mark What am I doing wrong? Thanks Camelia
  3. im thinking about buying anti-exploit license, but i would like to know if there is way to get lifetime license rather than one year?
  4. I work at an MSP and one of our favorite tools to use for infections was the standalone MalwareBytes download for a one-off scan. Recently the licensing language had changed to not allow for commercial use. Then it changed again to allow for "internal business purposes". I'm of the mind that this falls within our use (i.e., helping clean a client's computers) but my colleagues disagree. We've had a moratorium on using MWB since then because we don't want to use the software illegally (obviously), but I was hoping someone here could help clarify what would constitute as fair use under our scenario. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!
  5. Over the past year(?) I have purchased several copies of MWB. I am very happy with it. I have also has several catastrophic computer crashes. Is there a way I can "see" how many licenses I own? Thanks
  6. I need to purchase 25 licenses ASAP. I have applied to be a reseller and have not heard from anyone at Malwarebytes. Is there a phone number I can call or an email address that I can use to speed up the process? Kind regards, Tim
  7. I foolishly uninstalled Malwarebytes from my laptop. I am a paid subscriber. How do I re-install Malwarebytes and do I need a registration/license number or password to do so? Any help will be appreciated. I apologized for making such a foolish error and for the inconvenience of this inquiry. Thank you
  8. Hi, I just joined the forums today, but have been using malwarebytes for a while and its a great program. i've read a lot on these forums and even got some help with some issues along the way. i have a somewhat strange situation and am not sure what to do or what this even applies to as far as where i should post this, i've already posted in the microsoft answers forums and can provide a link to that disucussion but its not seemingly leading anywhere. i'm not sure this is even a malware issue but admit i'm not sure. i use a dell inspiron duo. its the convertible netbook that can be used as a tablet. running 7 home premium. i am a self taught computer guy, or SCACT self certified amateur computer technician lol. anyway this problem strikes me as strange. the info given when i enter the 'winver; command used to show the computer was registered and licensed in a normal manner. like my other pc's. now however, it shows that it is licensed to a hotmail address 'edlm83' this hotmail account appears to belong to someone else and all i have been able to do was to search the email address, and send an email asking why my computer was registered to whoever's that is. no response. we bought the computer straight from dell, online, unless we were misled somehow. i only noticed this problem becuz i recently started exploring IIS functions and noticed under the 'about' setting on the context menu in IIS that it said the same thing. some arabic or other writing along with the email address edlm83 at hotmail. please tell me what info i can provide to help get this fixed as i can't imagine what has gone down.
