  1. I recently ran Malwarebytes for the first time in a while and the following was detected: Registry Key: 10 RiskWare.IFEOHijack, HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENTVERSION\IMAGE FILE EXECUTION OPTIONS\SUPERANTISPYWARE.EXE, No Action By User, [6454], [249843],1.0.8051 RiskWare.IFEOHijack, HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432NODE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENTVERSION\IMAGE FILE EXECUTION OPTIONS\SUPERANTISPYWARE.EXE, No Action By User, [6454], [249843],1.0.8051 RiskWare.IFEOHijack, HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENTVERSION\IMAGE FILE EXECUTION OPTIONS\ITUNES.EXE, No Action By Us
  2. I consistently get scan hits for RiskWare related to iTunes components. If I quarantine the items, I end up having to repair or reinstall iTunes. How can I get MalwareBytes to ignore these iTunes components? MalwareBytesReport.txt
  3. I have been getting a constant list of Quarantine's that say similar topics as Hijackers, risk ware. I have taken a screenshot of the quarantined items for display here.
  4. Apologies if this isn't the correct place to post a question like this: I have just run a scan using Belarc Advisor and apparently I have a 'critical' missing security update. Specifically, I am running iTunes 10.6.3.25 for Windows. In October 2016 a security vulnerability was identified with iTunes. The solution is a security update which appears simply to be updating to the most recent iTunes 12. Despite what a lot of people say, I *really* like iTunes - specifically iTunes 10 - but I *really* don't like the newer versions. I've twice updated to more recent versions and been so a
  5. Just upgraded iTunes on Win7Ultimate x64 to 12.4.2.4 and now AMB will not start. Pressing "FIX" button doesn't do anything, neither does pressing START. Reboot does not help, program appears dead. Running version 0.9.16.484
  6. On both my wife's computer and mine, running with Windows v. 10, and with MB Anti-Malware and Anti-Exploit, and ESET NOD32 installed, for the past six months or more, iTunes updates have not installed. The option to save the file and then run it is also blocked. Do you think this is an Apple issue, a Windows issue, or a MB or ESET issue? Or.......something else? Here are two screenshots that always result from attempts to update iTunes:
  7. I'm running Windows 10, with MBAM 2.1.8.1057 installed. With MBAM enabled, iTunes and Spotify both lock up immediately on launch (a window opens, but no contents are displayed) and have to be terminated through Task Manager. With MBAM closed, or the Malware engine disabled, both apps launch normally with no issue. Once the apps are opened, I can enable MBAM again and I experience no issues in either app. When I launch either app with MBAM enabled, I do not get any notifications from MBAM that would indicate it has found anything, nor do I find anything in the Protection Log outside of the ex
  8. Malwarebytes quarrantined malware and since then Windows no longer updates, Microsoft Secutiy Essentials won't turn on or update. Itunes program will not connect to internet. I am guessing files were corrupted by virus, removed by Mbam and then deleted. is a recovery point a way to reinstall missing/corrupted files, a reinstallation? How do i recover? I am on the net typing this on the machine, so it must be a networking issue, not a hardware problem. Thanks for any help. this was the site that did the damage. I downloaded their virus instead of audacity: http://sourceforge.net/projects/auda
  9. Malware Bytes has been blocking a lot more than usual. First it kept blocking an IP address. Then every time I clicked iTunes it would block a trojan. It blocked something from Skype. I recently removed Pure Leads. And my computer is still slower than normal. Downloaded the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and attached the logs since it won't let me enter it in this post as its too long. 10. I have a Toshiba Satelite intel core i7, Windows 7 x64. For a few months now my machine has been acting up. 1. iTunes will not sync with my phone very well. I have done everything I can think of to fix it. It feels like malware but it may not be. 2. Video from youtube, hulu, netflix, and other sites will either play for a little bit and then quit or have an error or sorts or just won't play. It is rather frustrating. 3. Downloads will frequently be interupted and when they do complete then they might not work because it says they are corrupted. My copy of MBAM wouldn't install
  11. Hello, I am having two issues (perhaps the same one?). 1. The first I've had for a couple weeks now. When I open itunes, and sometimes adobe reader, about the fourth or fifth time I get an error message that reads: "the program can't start because xpcom.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." See the attached screen shot. I can click ok on the message and after about 8 times the message disappears and itunes opens. 2. The second issue is I can't uninstall Scorpion Saver, I get this message: "The feature you are trying to use is on a net
  12. Hey guys. I've found a "security.hijack". I'm guessing, it's a false positive, like this one: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=113609 Just to be safe, I would like to hear your opinion on it. Here is my log: In that registry folder, there are two keys: "(Standart)", which seems to be empty, and "Debugger", which contains "C:\Program Files (x86)\TuneUp Utilities 2012\TUAutoReactivator64.exe". - I'm using Tuneup 2012's program deactivator to completely deactivate itunes, as long as I don't need it. - I use Avira Antivirus 2012 premium and it never found anything. - I downlo
  13. Greetings, I had a virus infrection on my new computer last month (Win7Ult). Some time after I cleaned it up I installed iTunes and found it would not connect to the iTunes store. Running iTunes Diagnostics fails network check sith a "Secure Link to iTunes Failed"
