  3. Hello! Malwarebyes Anti-Malware has recently started to block this IP: This IP keeps showing again and again pretty often while I am browsing around the web or even when I am not using my PC. (Desktop idle, no applications running) Shows as this: Detection, 4/21/2015 9:28:36 PM, SYSTEM, , Protection, Malicious Website Protection, IP,, 0, Inbound, (I've removed my system name from the above line) Can you please check this IP and do some sort of research on it? 4. I have the Free version of Malwarebytes, while looking through the settings i clicked on web exclusions. I see 2 ip adresses that i do not recognize and i know that i NEVER added them or allowed malwarebytes to add them. I cannot remove them from the list because i have the free version. Should i be worried? Are these being skipped because they are in the list? Here is a picture of my Malwarebytes and the IP's that added themselves. Are they viruses? What can i do, i'm scared. 5. Hello, I'm new to this forum so I hope posted this the right place. When I open Steam, MalwareBytes block the IP: I've already scanned with Malwarebytes, Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit. Hitman Pro, Avast, AVG, McAfee and Roguekiller. They all found nothing. Since it's Steam trying to connect, I guess it's just a false positive?
  6. After having worked with MalwareBytes Anti-Malware for Business for 10 months I have a few requests/suggestions/ideas: - Workstation Tracking: Allow the Console to track workstations by MAC address and/or Computer Name instead of IP address. I understand that MAC address doesn't work for some organizations, but for others it is the most stable way of tracking computers. Computer Names also tend to be less volatile than IP Addresses, especially for organizations with laptops and/or mobile workers. - Report details: Allow Exports of reports with more specific details. Examples: List computer
  7. Hello! I've gone and followed this guide here: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/119858-available-assistance-for-possibly-infected-computers/ Like the title says, i'm getting annoying pop-op messages about outgoing and ingoing IP's getting blocked. It's mostly the same IP's. I've tried to track down the location of the IP's, and i've tracked one down to Egypt in Africa.... I have no idea what info it wants to send over there. If someone could help me getting rid of these pop-ups or something, then i would be very thankful. OS: Windows 8.1 Addition.txt FRST.txt

  10. Hello I have random servers pinging my svchost.exe. Malewarebytes is blocking the intrusions but my trial is expiring in a few days and I want to be certain I am 100% clean and safe after it expires. the IPs that are pinging me are usually from which I traced back to Ecatel LTD; however, I have also recently received one from a Chinese server. Is this something to be concerned about? Thanks in advance!
  11. Hello ! Introduction: My name's Cristian and I'm new to the forum and also new to Malwarebytes. I've recently installed Malwarebytes because I noticed that there are some processes eating up my CPU in Task Mananger and thought that I am most certainly virused. (I was right) I had no other option but to try Malwarebyes - a friend recommended it to me. Here's the problem: I've installed Malywarebytes Free. Checked almost all boxes to make sure it searches everywhere. Finally after an hour of scanning it found 3 viruses and added them to quarantine. Copy from the scan log: Processes: 0
  12. I like the Malicious Website Block feature. I just wish I could not be warned after the first per-session attempt from a site/port/direction. In other words, I'm requesting options dealing with how often I have to see the popup window.

  14. Dear Malwarebytes, 2 ip addresses I own are reported as a malicious website. - glas4all.nl - de-vakbeweging.nl Tested and as well and these are also reported as malicious. So my guess is the whole range 46.249.53.xx is blocked. Anyway the 2 ip adresses I own in this range do not contain malicious websites. Please whitelist/remove them. Regards.
  15. I seem to have got this, the only thing I had open was YouTube, Facebook, and Ironside Computers, along with an old SinglePlayer Game called BULLY.
  16. Good Afternoon from Eastern Europe. I will eventually get to the introduction forum but I have a more serious issue to deal with. Last night I noticed an *Allowed* IP in the Web Exclusions section which I checked out using network tools online, it led to an IP address originating from Moldova. I also noticed that I was not able to update my MBAM. Right away I took the following steps. 1. Strong MBAM password for everything. 2. Looked at all settings, some were changed, changed them back to *paranoid level*, update every 1 hour, if missed 2, scan every day. 3. Allowed custom scans. Changed ALL

MBAM has blocked the following IP addresses: IP-BLOCK (Type: outgoing, Port: 53784, Process: svchost.exe) (INKTOMI CORPORATION) IP-BLOCK (Type: outgoing, Port: 54721, Process: svchost.exe) (ns2.ukrtelecom.ua, expert.ukrtel.net,Utel DataCenter, Ukraine) In general, how does MBAM determine that an IP address should be blocked? Is there a way to discover what application is attempting to connect to these addresses? What action, if any, do I need to take? TIA, Phil

  21. Being a Walking Dead Fan, I was looking for a livestream via the wikia chatroom that gets filled up each week when an episode comes on. During that, I got some blocks from MBAM relating to Avastsvc.exe. I was wondering, what do they mean? The two of them were and Why does it do that, and is that alright? I've run scans and nothings come up.
  22. Hello, This morning, Malwarebytes block an outgoing IP addresses several times (15), it all occurred within an hour period. Since then, no such action has appeared further. Here's one of the log information: 2013/04/16 07:44:20 -0500 IP-BLOCK (Type: outgoing) The IP address belongs to a company called SoftLayer. I contact them and they have no idea why their IP address would appear in my PC and asked me to send the log information to their abuse department, which I did. So far, I haven't heard anything from them yet. Does anyone know why this IP address appeared in my PC and was
  23. This must be common to every user of MBAM, because it happens to me occasionally. I have experienced IP blocks when browsing through Google Images, and I cannot figure out the why or source of it. The tooltip can appear in a couple different instances; search results, image upload search results, or after opening up a preview. Even more confusing, I am still on the Google's Images website when the tooltip appears, no potentially malicious websites of any sort have been accessed yet. I use a Google Chrome extension called ScriptSafe (very similar addon to NoScript for Firefox), which allows m
  24. Hi, Since yesterday, I'm getting occasional messages from MBAM Pro about a blocked outgoing connection showing the same IP address with different port numbers! I scanned my system by Avast Free and MBAM Pro but both of them said that my system is clean. I also used CCleaner to clean junk files. But tonight, I got the same message. Does anyone know what it is and why I get this message constantly? Here is the log: 2013/10/06 21:28:09 IP-BLOCK (Type: outgoing, Port: 63554, Process: avastsvc.exe)2013/10/06 21:28:09 IP-BLOCK (Type: outgoing,
