  1. When I am on my desktop, the Malwarebytes log keeps showing in the bottom right corner, it's not a huge problem, but it can be a bit distracting sometimes, and I can't seem to find a way to remove it.
  2. I've scanned my pc with Malwarebytes, it has found 16 PUP's to quarantine, so I told it to do so and it now has reached 2000 of 16 threats qurantined, and it doesn't look like it's stopping any time soon. Does anyone know what to do?
  3. Hi, I'm running 3.3.1 and for some reason web protection refuses to turn on. Whenever I toggle it via Settings it gets stuck in a "starting..." I've tried rebooting the program, rebooting my PC, toggled "enable self-protection module early start" on and rebooted, turned it off and rebooted, and even reinstalled Malware Bytes to no avail. I've attached a screenshot of what's happening (including MWB eating up the lion's share of my memory/CPU) and MB-Check results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Sean mb-check-results.zip
  4. Steps to reproduce: - Using either MBAE 1.10 beta or MBAM 3.2 beta, enable all mitigations in Advanced Settings; Don't know if MBAM 3.1.2 is affected. - Update Firefox to 55.0 if it's not already; - Visit any website then press the home button. Only the address bar gets updated, the web page you where on remains on display until you visit other website or mash the home button a few times. This doesn't happen with default settings and it doesn't happen at all with Firefox 54.0.1. I am running Windows 10 Version 1703 (15063.502). Attached a video with issue in action. 2017-08-08 18-30-41.mov
  5. Since a few days ago, whenever I start up my laptop, seconds later I now keep getting an error from the program telling me that "updates are not current" and I have to keep making it get updates manually though when I click on the "Check for updates" button the first time, nothing happens and the same error pops up again. Clicking that same button does make it work after all but I don't want to keep doing it each time, and I believe a little blip with a recent program update might have caused this. Might be wrong, but I hope there is a fix for it, even with MBClean that I used before. Thanks.
  6. If there is a piece of malware stored in a .iso malware bytes wont find it on a regular scan or by scanning the .iso file directly
  7. Alright guys, so I have a few questions about Malwarebytes. I've used this program for a very long time and I am now starting to question if it is really compatible with Windows 8.1. I sometimes, while running a scan, click the little icon on the taskbar, and then click back and.... Bye bye Malwarebytes! It completely quits just like that. Even when I hit the minimize button, it does the same thing. But it seems the scan continues running? It's so weird. And after running Malwarebytes today, this is what I got on the system tray: Okay. REALLY weird. But further looking into this... The culprit was none other than... Norton Security Suite? What??! Now this is very strange for Norton to do this. I've run Norton on every PC I've owned, and this is ... really weird. Also, when I press the "Show Desktop" button, Mbam disappears again. So is Mbam slowly becoming a ghost or is there something off with the 8.1 compatability?
  8. I had recently updated malwarebytes to 2.0, i never had any problems with the program. Until yesterday i ran a scan only to find it freezes at filesystem objects. It doesn't stop on a specific file, just randomly it'll hang at that category. I currently have Mcafee and Microsoft Security Essentials installed. It'll usually freeze around the 20 minute mark. Is there a way to fix this?
  9. Whenever I plan to start a full scan on my laptop I always perform an update. Now today I did my usual routine and during the full scan as I was on chrome the Malwarebytes scan popped up in front of my chrome window. This didn't happen a couple of days ago when I did a full scan either and I couldn't switch the focus to Chrome again, it just stayed in the front of the desktop. I stopped the scan and restarted it and once again the same thing happened, so I don't know if the update messed up the focus or if it's a virus.. I checked to see if I'm able to access my task manager( which I'm able to) and if I can minimize the scan(which I'm also able to). I'm hoping this is just an update glitch because it's never happened to me before and not a virus. Anyone else having this issue or and advice on what I should do to fix it, please and thank you. By they way I haven't had any objects detected during these scans.
  10. Hello, I have a very wierd problem, apparently I have a Virus? called Bts Scour Virus, my internet browsers (Internet Explorer and Google Chrome) will either redirect me to Bts Scour or some random site, can someone please help me?!?!?
  11. Hey, I have a really annoying problem. I have malwarebytes free, and I've removed some viruses on my computer, but the one that stays is trojan.agent. I quick-scanned, restarted my computer after highlighting and clicking remove all, and I scan again, and it's still there. I refused restarting, so that put it into quarantine, but I really want to remove this unless it doesn't do harm while in quarantine. I am using avast internet alongside.
