  1. Hi! Since I installed Malwarebytes 3 I never had any problems with it, I think I can consider myself lucky since there are so many posts here reporting so many problems, some of them being recurring problems between versions.... But lately, my Malwarebytes is acting a little weird... It is just taking forever to launch the main application, for example when I open it from the tray, or when I use on-demand scan in context menu to make sure a file is clean before opening it. Sometimes it is taking even 5 MINUTES to open the application and it didn't used to happen before. Yeah well, it always
  2. Just updated Malwarebytes and now the exclusions are not working anymore. I have whitelisted several websites that I want to visit but instead of getting that block.malwarebytes.com message with the logo, I get this: When I disable Web Protection all the sites work fine. Mbam version is / 1.0.50 / 1.0.1137 and my account type is premium if thats of any importance.
  3. I am using Malwarebytes 3.0 Premium and Norton Security Both software are running with standard real-time features, in addition to the fact that Malwarebytes has been manually set by me to scan for rootkits. Why scanning for rootkits is not enabled by default, I don't know. Anyways, which files and folders in Malwarebytes and Norton Security should I set for exclusion? I want to set the Norton Security program to be excluded from Malwarebytes scans and the Malwarebytes program to be excluded from all Norton Security scans. So far, the only Norton folder s
  4. I have a batch file the root of C that the application will not let me exclude. I can exclude any ".EXE" in that folder but not a ".BAT" file.
  5. MBAE Version OS: Windows 7 64bits I created a Excel VBA macro. In this macro, I copy a specific file to another location. MBAE will kick in and I can not add this to the exclusions list. No add button and no menu appearing on a mouse right-click.
  6. After updating to version, it seems like my exclusions are being ignored. I have an PHP web application installed locally (using xampp) on my Windows 7 Ultimate Laptop. When clearing the application cache, loads of files are being deleted and regenerated afterwards. Depending on doing this using the PHP command line or via the web interface, the PHP cli "C:\xampp\php\php.exe" or the apache web server "C:\xampp\apache\bin\httpd.exe" are being put into quarantine and sometimes scheduled to be deleted after reboot. I had added both programs to the list of exclusions and did not h
  7. Sorry to have posted on the wrong forum. My problem is over. Everyhing is fine with Malwarebytes Anti-Randomware. Just one question: I read about someone who was talking about a "license key". I don't have one. Is it because I have a lifetime license with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware? Have a nice day. I meant RANSOMWARE of course.
  8. Malwarebytes is blocking nearly every website I try to visit, even the ones I've added to my Web Exclusions list. They're "normal" websites like weather.com and cnn.com and the like. Is there something more I need to do?
  9. Hey Guys, So, I had added some exclusions to MBAM, but I can see where MBAM is still looking at the files in the excluded directory via ProcessMonitor. Take a look at the attached image. What am I missing?
  10. Does the ignore list apply to all scanning, real-time scanning or scheduled scanning? A software vendor is asking that I exclude certain folders from the real-time scanning.
  11. I was redirected to this forum. Log files attached. I think I figured out the remaining problem -- seems the malware had listed itself in the exclusions. However, once I removed those exclusions scan still came out clean, so I think I may have gotten everything manually. scan5.txt is the latest scan, done after all exclusions were removed. The addtion.txt, checkresults.txt and frst.txt were generated before I removed the exclusions and ran the last scan. Please let me know if there is anything in there other than the exclusions that still indicates a threat. Thanks! Addition.txt Che
  12. I have windows xp pro. I have malwarebytes antimalware free version installed, and I run it a couple of times a week as a back-up to my anti-virus. Under exclusions, I can choose a folder to exclude, using the program's browse box. However, hidden files and folders are not shown here, even if they are shown on my pc. I would like to to exclude system volume information folder, since it takes so long to scan. How can I exclude this folder, if it won't show up in the browse for folder box under malware exclusions?? Is there a serious risk to excluding the restore points from a malware scan?
  13. What exclusions should be set for running Trend Micro Officescan virus software and MBAM Pro? MBAM will not all me to enable Website blocking if Trend Micro is running. Thanks!
  14. Hi, I'm using MBAM PRO along with Emsisoft Antimalware. I want to set exclusions to be on the safe side. What are the proper exclusions? Best Regards, ams963
