  1. Hi, I have a GTranslate plugin activated on 2 of my WordPress sites where in a dropdown it should show the flags of different countries and when each flag is clicked on the language should change accordingly. Looking at these sites through either Firefox or Edge they work. Yet looking at it through Chrome these things aren't working. Everyone else I know has told me that the flags and languages are showing for them, which ever browser they use. So with Chrome, this plugin is failing on both of my sites. Please see what I'm talking about at www.mycorner.online and www.thepeopleproject.org.uk I've been in touch with my Host Providers and my ISP, who both say it's a caching problem on my machine or browser and that they can't fix it. So, the last thing I can think of is that my security wall might have something to do with this. I've added the site name to my 'Allow List' and it's making no differece, however I'm wondering if anybody knows of anything else I can do to rectify the problem? Any help/advice will be much appreciated, thank you.
  2. Hello, I've got my mother's laptop. She has some kind of a browser hijacker. 3. OS: Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit Google Chrome 64Bit Version 75.0.3770.142 Chrome Function "delete cookies by search" By input the first signs to search cookies for deletion chrome was terminated. After restart of chrome I tried this again, and chrome was terminated oncemore. After this I closed Malewarebytes 3.8.3 and then the described function works well. Then I have started Malwarebytes again. The whole descibed precedure with error in Malwarebytes I had 2 times: Yesterday and today (just before some minutes). In the old Version of Malwarebytes there was not such an error. I Hope you will find the problem.
  4. Someone just told me a file I just downloaded was a cookie logger, I couldn't find anything that says how these work. I never did run the program, but I still want to know if it could have infected my computer! Please help, even if cookie loggers are fine, answer the question anyway. They showed me pictures of things the logger did, so I believe that they can actually do something.
  5. Hi everyone, My name is Ryan and I'm new to the community, and I'm coming to you all with some irritable reasons. I have had the most persistent malware infecting (I think only chrome - on Win 10) for the past 2 weeks with no avail. Currently I have used JRT, AdwCleaner, HitManPro, Malwarebytes and Avast. The last two never seem to detect anything, while the first three detect and delete, detect and delete, detect and delete... without permanently resolving my issue! I have removed all suspicious chrome extensions, reset my chrome several times, and even remain logged out of my chrome account with no avail - it keeps coming back essentially in the form of ad redirects. The most unusual element of this is whenever I click on any google docs urls it immediately turns into an ad redirect that malwarebytes blocks (even when not signed into chrome). I'm at a loss and not entirely sure what to do. I've attached some screenshots detailing some logs/readouts of what I've encountered so far in terms of problems. If there are any experts out here who can help me purge my chrome of this adware I would be overly appreciative (especially with regards to saving the money I'd have to spend on a computer guy). Best, Ryan P.S. HitManPro sometimes detects up to 25 tracers including the conduit, and I've managed to bring AdwCleaner to 3-4 each time. Funny thing is they usually detect nothing until I re-open chrome from my taskbar on Windows 10. The blocked site by malwarebytes is also the result of clicking a google docs link.
