  1. I have tried and tried to remove malware called GoSearch8, that seems to be what is constantly redirecting me to Bing, but Malwarebytes is not finding it. Any suggestions?
  2. I have just been setting up a new Win10 PC for my not very tech aware cousins with Edge/Bing as default search engine. I notice that the number one hit for "Malwarebytes Premium" is not your main site but "buy.malwarebytes.com" titled: Malwarebytes - Officical (sic) Site | Makes Antivirus Obsolete If it is your site then you might want to spell Official correctly and if it isn't you probably want to get Bing to delist them and take appropriate action against the perpetrators. I am not sure how they could have intercepted one of your subdomains so perhaps it really is genuine but
  3. Hi Team My websites like https://www.changehomepage.net/, https://www.commerce-microsoft.com/, https://www.fixfirefoxerror.com/, https://www.incredimailsupports.com/, https://www.microsoft-number.com/, https://www.thunderbirdsupport.com/ are now malware free. All the information given in the websites are true and very useful. Kindly white-list these websites ASAP. Thanks & Regards Ron Weasley
  4. I get this unwanted automatic update pop-up window on my PC
  5. Hello, my google searches are being redirected to Bing, it is not simply my default search engine being switched. I have malware busted before and this one is very well hidden. Threat Scan: Those are not the problem, regardless they have been removed. FRST.txt Addition.txt Plz send halp.
  6. I'm having trouble getting rid of some virus that's redirecting all of my google searches to extension.citypage.today and then to a similar bing search. I've tested this with both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge so I believe it isn't browser specific. Regardless I've tried everything I can think of and nothing has gotten rid of it. While I've also tried a couple of other antiviruses, none of them (including Malwarebytes premium free trial) have helped. I downloaded and ran the FRST scan like asked and attached the files. I also attached my most recent Malwarebytes threat scan. It does sa
  7. Bing has taken over my search function in duckcuckgo. I have not knowingly given permission for this. How can I get rid of Bing to eliminate the possibility that Bing will send my searches to Microsoft? I'm a rank newby at this so forgive my mistakes of protocol.
  8. Hello, I'm having the same issue that is described in the thread below. The removal was quite complicated in the thread listed, and I don't feel confident addressing the issue alone. Aura was able to solve this particular issue, and I'm hoping that I could get similar assistance with the malware on my computer. Thanks! Arielle
  9. Wow, where to start. Avira is picking up Adware/agentcv.6501488. I've tried Malwarebytes, Malwarebytes Root-Kit, ADW Cleaner, JRT and CCleaner to find the problem. For a while Malwarebytes, Malwarebytes Root-Kit ADW Cleaner and JRT couldn't even find a virus. Recently things have gotten worse. My System Restore wont work because it says System Protection is turned off. When I go to System Protection, it says it is on. And today, when I opened Chrome, a Bing tab appeared. I've tried a bunch of things to get rid of it too and nothing. If anyone is familiar with any of the above and co
  10. I read another post where the poster had the same issues I am dealing with. Gringo was assisting him and told him to download DDS and post the logs. I have done that as well and am wondering if I should post them here or attach as files? Please advise.
  11. Hello. I don't know where else to put this, so I will put it here. One day I was on Google chrome and when I opened a new tab, it went to the bing search engine. I got that fixed, but then my default search engine was bing. The next day(today) it said that someone tried to open my gmail. I just changed my password. The reason i am not scanning with DDS is because this is web malware. Please use web browser/hacker detector scanners instead of normal malware scanners like MBAM, RougeKiller, or ComboFix. Thanks, and I hope you can help. P.S: the email hacker's info and date was: Wednesday, Februar
  12. My wife noticed issue at first as she uses MSN as her homepage. When she does a search in MSN the results show up in Bing. When she clicks on a given result, 1 out of 4 times the link gets hijacked by a different search engine and ends up at an ad completely unrelated. Backing up is prevented. The highjacker appears to be something called "http://www.letenjoy-search.net", as this briefly appears in the address bar between pages. I have run malwarebytes, norton, Superantispyware, spybot, and still cannot correct the issue. Just to be sure their is an issue, I have clicked on similuar link
