  1. I'm trying to activate real-time protection on my iMac. I couldn't do it before upgrading to Catalina this morning. And now I've upgraded and I still can't see the Allow button even in Catalina. Screen shots below. It doesn't offer an Allow button.
  2. So I got two free keys given to me from Marcin Kleczynski of Malwarebytes over on Reddit. Because I got given a key I didnt have to sign up for an account. I reformatted my PC which I activated MBAM 3 Pro on with the key and forgot to deactivate it first now I cant use that key on my new installed windows 10. The normal process would be to sign into your account and deactivate the license from the list of your devices but because I got given the key and therefore donot have an acount how can I deactivate my license so I can use it on my new OS?
  3. Hello dear friends, Please I need some help. I just renewed my license. I did received an email with my IDs and asking me to activate license again. When I try to do it, teh "Activate License" in not working, I mean, when I write both my Id and license code, the button "Activate License" is not activated and therefore I am unable to activate my license again. I did uninstalled Malwerbytes, reinstaled it (with most recent download) and still not working. Please anybody can help me? Thank you. Antonio
  4. Hi, I'm currently trying to enable my real time protection on my premium account, but everytime it doesn't want to activate and the button instantely jump back on 'disable'. I've seen on the web that the problem is frequent but i didn't fond any working solution. Thanks to you and have a nice day, Rattlesneak
  5. I previously had an issue with my real-time protection turning itself off. Support gave me the information for uninstall old version (my automatic updates were not working) and reinstall. I saved my licensing information since the instructions indicate this will not carry over and I'll have to manually enter my licensing information once the new version has been installed. During the install I did have several errors pop up (too quickly to notate the errors), but I did finally get the update installed. Here is where my new problem comes in to play. When I go to the licensing screen to enter my license information, the button to [ACTIVATE] is gray and will not allow me to activate my current license. I've posted my concern in the forums and sent an email to support and have yet to get any sort of response. Right now I'm running a FREE version of the software, but needless to say I'm frustrated since I have a paid license that I am unable to activate. Please, can anyone help? I don't even have a support phone number to contact to speak directly to a human.

Before i was having the same issue, i fix it when i turn off the web filter of comodo's firewall and everything was fine until now.. when i start my pc the web protection of MBAM just can't start and the UI button is green and it says "starting, but actually nothing is really happening. And yes everything is allowed to start when i turn on my system, in the program self defence module is turned on also.

  8. Hi, A remote user uninstalled Malwarebytes anti-malware and installed installed the anti-ransomware BETA and got this error below. Any thoughts? ["There was a problem activating your Malwarebytes anti-ransomware Beta". Your license failed to activate. ] Thank you. MR
  9. Same problem as already reported by Pinosempreverde here. Message: 'Your license failed to activate'. Clicking 'Start Protection' does not change a thing. Tried to adapt the hosts file and to exclude MB3Service / mbarw.exe in the firewall, but to no avail. I noticed that Anti-Ransomware worked just fine a few days, but that this failure occurred after last (major) Windows 10 update.
  10. Not now a problem to me but I thought I'd just post my initial problem... I've 2 laptops, both running Win7 and installed Anti-Ransomware Beta on the first with no problems. I installed it then on the 2nd one and got when I ran it it gave the message about my licence not activating. There seemed to be no way for me to fix whatever was wrong. I closed the program and restarted it and this time it came up with a message saying I wasn't protected but this time gave me a 'fix it' button which worked. There are no error or warning events showing in the event viewer.
  11. Hi, I've had a quick search for this as it seems like it should be a common problem. Windows 8.1 computer - at the "Activate" stage, getting a message box telling me I need to be connected to the Internet. In Process Explorer I see the mbam.exe process attempt to connect to an AWS instance but fails. TCP computername:51625 ec2-52-4-11-233.compute-1.amazonaws.com:https SYN_SENT This computer is behind a proxy and is unable to make a direct connection to AWS hence the reason it's failing. Just the syn packet. I can't seem to get mbam to use the proxy. IE, Chrome and WinHTTP (32-bit and 64-bit (I see mbam.exe is a 32-bit process)) are all configured explicitly to talk to the proxy.In Chrome, visiting: ec2-52-4-11-233.compute-1.amazonaws.comconnects fine and I get an OK message. Can mbam.exe use a proxy for registration? Although I see both: Wininet and winhttp dlls loaded into the process, a quick look suggests it's just using a direct Winsock call. Many thanks.
  12. A few days ago I installed the windows 8.1 preview on my computer and decided to do a clean install from windows 7. Before wiping my drive I used the malwarebytes removal tool, but now I can't reactivate malwayrebytes. It is still on the same computer, nothing has changed except the OS. I tried downloading it online and booting it from the cd, but neither will work.
